Why do you celebrate?
I personally celebrate as a excuse to see my family that I rarely see and eggnog.... oh boy do I love eggnog.

I celebrate because I only get to see my family once a year at the most, and it's during the holidays. Also because getting presents is awesome. Yay for free stuff!

It is cold and dark outside (in the northwest the days are super short). I have kids and they enjoy the time of the year to get special gifts. I get to share some of my cooking with others and we just have fun. Top that off with several holiday days at work (off and paid) and you have a makings of an excellent end of the year week. So in short it has nothing to do with religion or anything like that, just a fun time and a nice way to end a year. Hope everyone enjoys :)

No matter what you say guy. can you quote the words that threaten death or should i refer you to the words i italicized that were just statements like slip said^ you really need to try to work your head out of your hiny broham. it's okay to read between the lines. but you always assume anyone that has an opinion that isn't the same as yours is out to get you/get someone who you believe carries the same opinion. and it's stupid to be that way. I was threatening no one. I was making a truthful statement. It should be blatantly obvious to you by now, I'm no religious extremist. He pointedly made fun of a few things associated with both Muslim and Christian radicals.
Thank you to everyone who saw that, and pointed it out for me. This is the very reason some key people talked the director of 2012 out of including key Muslim icons from destruction in the movie. They knew it would bring bad, bad consequences.

LOL is there anyone on this forum that actually enjoys Christmas and doesn't stand on some soap box denoucing it or belittling it xD.
I'm stoked its my son's first Christmas, and first one for me being married. Food, warmth, and love. I can't ask for much else.
