Please read all of the story. Its not just the breast milk, its a bigger story of how they have no regard for their own policies.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/mother-kept-in-glass-cage-for-almost-an-hour-by-tsa-for-resisting-over-breast-milk.html

Quote:
A TSA manager then approached her and told her that the milk had to go through the x-ray scanner because the containers it was in were “too full” and it was “not a clear liquid”. These are both made up rules that are not mentioned anywhere in TSA guidelines, proving that even the TSA manager had no regard for the official laws in this instance.

The guidelines allow “Mothers flying with, and now without, their child be permitted to bring breast milk in quantities greater than three ounces as long as it is declared for inspection at the security checkpoint.”

lol yeah This one is bigger than the actual subject in story. Its like they dont have rules to follow any more. Thats the bigger issue. Yeah, we know people are being sexual asssualted but overstating power is another thing.

After being told that her breast milk might have to be put through an x-ray scanner, Ms Armato attempted to show the TSA agents a print out of their own guidelines allowing non x-ray screening for breast milk. This act of serious disobedience resulted in the agent pushing Ms Armato into a glass cage, telling her “to be quiet if you know what’s good for you”, while calling for “back up”.

Awesome.

I'm not for TSA excessive behaviors and power trips.

That's media propaganda, in fact there are thousands of flight per day, multiply that by the number of passengers, you are probably hitting a near a million.

If you see 10 incidents like this happening DAILY at TSA,
that's like 0,00001% of the passengers that are having issues.

Fact is, there are terrible TSA agents that should lose their job due to their stupid behaviors. The problem is not a major issue affecting most passenger, it's the media making a dramatisation of the situation.

you're right there are terrible tsa agents that should lose their jobs, all the ones that permit this are terrible agents of the government, a government that is supposed to protect our rights, not their ego. This entire thing is a tsa powertrip and excessive behavior.

Obviously not, I never said my numbers were actually accurate or anything. Just trying to point out it's a problem as big as the medias are trying to make it look like.

I'm trying to have an objective look on the situation instead of giving into propaganda. Feel free to ignore my opinion if you wanna go with the TSA hate bandwagon.

you say a violation of our rights isn't a big problem, we say violating the civil liberties guaranteed to us is a big problem, maybe you should go away you who don't understand america/it's history or what fascism is. Feel free to ignore my opinion if you want to live your life being told what to do without question.
