I heard that Obama was letting securities know that TSA was doing their job a little too much.. and I think it was getting tot he point where the public has just had enough to the point, I think it was starting to make the gov't look bad.

My mother and sister worked for TSA in Phoenix. Ive heard plenty of horror stories from them, just asking for ID sent people into hissy fits and melt downs and god forbid you ask them to remove their shoes.

so I dont get it either. I say the government just fires all security in airports and lets see what happens.

the way I see it is, you're going to a public, high traffic area, you know that there is readily available rules on what you can and cannot bring and that people are probably going to pat you down....why do people freak out when they get stopped?

with 9/11 people were like "wtf not enough security wtf" and now people are like "too much security"

for the record being TSA has perks, you get to meet celebrities and my sister straight out of highschool was making nearly 15$ an hour.
