Seconding this, it's exactly what I usually do (I'm at ~800 clears now). Go in on DNC, NFR+Reverse, Rudra's for a 1-shot kill, exit. It's also one of the easiest ways to farm marbles.

As far as "progression" goes: there's a handful of potential things of interest. First is buying the tabula and runes with marbles. Second is unlocking titles by clearing a large number of runs. Third is getting the remaining runes as drops in the dungeon.

"Lost and Found" changes the loot table for each kind of maze. It doesn't necessarily just "increase drop rates." In particular, certain maze types drop unique runes; "Lost and Found" will swap those out I'm pretty sure. So if you're trying to get fishing runes from the fishing map, I wouldn't use "Lost and Found."

However, certain runes are exclusive to the "Lost and Found" pool. I used some combination of FFXIclopedia and the JP wiki to help me sort that out.

There's this old site MysticDhalmelHerder. At the bottom there's a "Rune Spreadsheet" that indicates which rows come only from Lost and Found (yellow highlighted ones). Doesn't give all the info (I do think L&F gives different runes based on voucher type?) but has that, at least.

All nations gain access to those OPs but may require different levels of reconnaissance, so may not be available directly after tally.

I have written down the following in my notes:
Kinslayer: Baileys -> Recon 6
Kinslayer: Keep -> Recon 8
Fiat Lux requires access to Throne Room
No notes on Bailey Borer

I found that only the northland-specific OPs, not the ones for the castle, required specific nation control, like Vanguard-X IV, Crimson Domino IV, Steel Resolve IV, Hazerdous Materials I...

Sorry, I'm dumb. Does that just mean I should be spamming some Offensive Operations to unlock Kinslayer/Fiat Lux? Me and a few others grinded out campaigns last night and I believe we should have Fiat Lux available for all nations (everything owned except Beadeaux, Oztroja and Fort Karugo Narugo), but it's currently not showing up in Windurst and I don't wanna change nations until I finish them here.

Edit: Nevermind, a nearby NPC seems to request battle strategies with Reconnaissance being an option. I'm guessing this is what you're talking about.
Edit2: Searching "Reconnaisance" in this thread brought up a post suggesting to go farm the SKCNM boxes to raise Recon level so I guess I'll go do that.

Something doesn't seem right for me being rank 4.

From my understanding, I should be Rank 5 now, but nothing yet. I figured doing all assaults would put me over, but nope. I have a fair amount of monstrosity done, but given category completions might be a bit thing - not sure if I should try the rest of the AF quests.

I'm in a very similar spot with 1 monster lv 68 and nothing else... so i'm pretty sure that's what is holding me back, but I'm busy crossing my t's and dotting my i's on other time sensitive stuff
