Mastery Rank Data

For anyone that wants to share where they are with Mastery Rank and there stats on quest/missions/roe and so forth. Rank can be found in menu under Status>Profile.

Any data helps, but more data for people at rank 6 can help us find possible base requirements. Stats from other ranks also can find baselines for those as well. Obviously stats from people if they notice when they rank up will be extra useful.


The "other types of in-game content" might be hardest to figure out. Apparently at the moment Rank 6 is the cap?


Master Rank 4 with:

Rank 10 only in one city
Zilart/CoP main missions + epilogues completed
ToA/WotG/SoA/RoV main missions completed
No Addons done

451 ROE completed
Max Fame in Bastok, Windy, Sandy, Norg, Jeuno and corresponding linked areas
Relic/Empyrean/Aeonic completed, no mythics

Where are you at with Missions/Fame/RoE?

All missions completed, RoE is at 650, All Fame is capped except like 2 Abyssea zones. I'm pretty sure I have completed almost all regular quests in the game except a handful. I have completed all of the Dynamis wave 3 and Omen but my MM from Odyssey is only 11 combined. I have a couple relics, 1 mythic, 1 ergon, 1 Empy at 119 R:15, and a couple of Aeonics.

Rank 6 Mentor.
744 Records of Eminence completed.
All Mission Lines completed.
Capped Fame in Starting Cities, Jeuno, Outlands. (Have to check others)
Not Captain rank.
Uncapped Fame in all Abyssea zones.
Defeated Shinryu.
Completed Ygnas & Arciela Directives.
Defeated all HNM's and Beastmen Kings/Generals.
Defeated DL & ADL.
Have to double check but defeated some of the lvl 99 Dynamis bosses.
Defeated Omega, Ultima, and Arch- versions.
Defeated AV & PW.
Have not defeated all Salvage bosses.
MM level 2 currently.

If REMA's are a factor: Have Rank 15 Relic & Ergon, and non-ranked Empyrean & Aeonic.

Keep in mind that 6 maybe the base cap but 7-10 might be from rateups.

There's no "You must complete these things to attain xyz rank." I'm curious to see what in-game things might be factors I'm missing to be honest.

Rank 7 Mastery, raising a chocobo is the only thing left on my bucket list.

I have raised about 9 chocobos, and got the bronze trophy from races as well so could be one of those. Now that I think about it, check your vorseals, if you have them all unlocked (besides the HP/MP and Dragon ones) maybe that could help you keep track of what quests will get you to rank 7?

I raised a chocobo, but never entered it in a race.

All coalitions capped might be something to look at.

Mastery Rank 4 (Mentor available)

Rank 10 all nations, all missions complete, 90% of quests, most of Abyssea (quests/fame/atma/abyssite), everything associated with Mog Garden maxed, raised 4x chocobos, missing about 10x Trusts.

494 RoE completed. Only 3x jobs at 99. No Job Mastery. Shocking lack of endgame content ever done. No REMA. Not completed Coalition Assignments, so no shovel, etc.


That was embarrassing, writing that out.

edit: plus highest craft only 100.

I'm mastery rank 6 as well. I won't be mentoring anyone, but cmon I gotta max the number just for completions sake

all mission lines complete except shantotto addon, 110 gold w/escutcheon, 110 fishing, 70 others. All jobs mastered, 714 Roe completed, adoulin ring+1/ygnas, 8 REMA (mythic, ergon, empy, and aeonic only, no relics), max fame probably everywhere except abyssea where I've done like noooone of the quests, voidwatch not complete (never killed provenance watcher), 59/145 atma, 39/65 abyssites, and uhhh.. I'm don't really feel like counting anything else right now like completed quests from each city

How many RoE quests completed you have?

And do you have a lot of quests, in general?

Playtime might also be related to determine the rank?

Only if SE consider time played some type of "completion".

Personally, i dont see it that way.

As that is one of the barriers required to become a mentor, it would seem they do.

has anyone got all the content based vorseals unlocked in escha? are you rank 7? might be using the same list of achievements

I am rank 6 with just the bastok/windy wotg questlines left to do.
486 ROEs (still need to go back and redo loads of stuff i did before roe existed)
all other missions done
ygnas/arcelia directives cleared
captain/legend
beat all chocobo races
unity/woe/vagary/SR/Dyna/dyna-D/omen/escha/limbus/sea/sky/salvage cleared.
only done MT2
10 master jobs, 20 @99 at least one of each REMA type.
MM 5ish (not into odyssey at all)
not much crafting stuff, fishing and a couple of crafts floating around 70
missing 8 trusts

Im rank 6.

Instead of talking what i have, what im missing:

- Dyna Div any boss 2 and boss 3;
- HTBF without win or win VD on several new ones and a couple of old one;
- Macrocosmic Orb, maybe missing a few zones;
- Missing several UNMs, including Tumult Curator;
- Several old quests, several RoE quests.
- MMM;
- Mastery Trials.
- Sheol C and odyssey NMs in general.

What is done:

- Missions and addons, aside Voracious;
- Craft 110
- Moblin Ranger
- VW;
- Abyssea;
- ZNM;
- AV;
- Geas Fete;
- Coalitions;
- Mog Garden;
- Incursion but just till 2 lvs higher;
- Omen;
- Skirmish.

As I said above, raising a chocobo is one of the few things I have left to do. As such, I have not received the vorseal related to raising a chocobo.

I am rank 7, so chocobo raising is likely not tied to ranking in any way unless there is a rank 8.

This is just a theory, but perhaps Quests, Questlines, and Fame weighs more heavily than unique NM's & Content completions?

For example: my fame in all 9 abyssea zones is 0.

I'm at Rank 7, and I've done basically everything (including 1000+ RoEs) except for like 2 Master Trials, a handful of HTBFs on VD, Ebisu +1, a crafting shield, and a few dozen normal quests.

Title sounds easier to be related to some sort of metric for ranking:

Like 1-100 titles > rank1, 100-200 title > rank 2, etc.

Interesting thought. Funny enough I checked titles page on bg the other day and it has 1,055 titles logged from the game.
