Honestly, I think it would be a move in the right direction. We can't actually get over our differences if we have to put blacks, gays, lesbians, and every minority but white people up on a protected pedestal. We shouldn't accept arbitrary violence against ANYONE.

You don't commit hate crimes to hurt one individual, you do it to hurt the entire society of that minority. The media needs to REFUSE to accept that ANYTHING is a hate crime and not put a label on any of it. Calling a hate crime simply a murder will not give the criminal his satisfaction, and it will not attempt to "unite" people against one another. That was the main point I made about those Gay Suicides a few months ago. I would of rather they made the issue be about bullying rather than about "gays". or maybe some of you guys should stop *** other guys and we wouldnt have this problem...
