Corsair 75 Gear Advice

I'm about to hit 75 soon and going to pimp it out as best as possible so I was wondering what are the best gear set ups for DD and for QD. I'm looking for a QD and a DD set up. What do you guys think ?



Edit: subs i'm using to DD is /war ( /rng going to lv after i hit 75). QD wise I have /rdm or /blu.

Joy/empty/gun/ammo
Turban/Pcc/Acc earring/Acc earring
Acc body/Dusk gloves/Rajas/Acc ring
Cuchulain's/Haste belt/Haste legs (if not acc legs)/Haste shoes

Those are my sets for /ra DD. I use a throw together haste setup for meleeing from the gear I have.

Well, This is my QD Set:



Missing a few things I'm still trying to get, but this set-up will get you pretty decent numbers!
(+1 AF boots will replace those Crimson feet after this weekend!
And i REALLY need to upgrade to better AGI rings)
BTW: Corsair Gun has +2 magic accuracy on it from augement.
And the Mirke has the +4 MAB and -5 to QD recast
For QD, MAB is your best friend as well as you Sea-Obis and HQ Staves.
With the set-up I have above, I can break 420+ on Kirin and and HQ UFO's in Sea.

What end-game access and/or events do you partake in?
Because I'd HIGHLY suggest going for C.Legs or at least ASA Legs with the 8% movement speed for Solo-Kiting. (Hermes also!)

another VERY nice piece to hunt down is the Rover's Gloves from the NM in Xarcabard. VERY nice QD hands.

As for Subs, I mainly sub BLU with QD since you can set an extra +5 AGI
(being Elvaan sucks in that department)
But DONT overlook BLM sub as well!
Sure the survivability isn't there...but the MAB2 is so worth it.


Pretty Sure Nate-Glory and Wooooodum will chime in on this with more suggestions.
Nate does some epic QD numbers and Wooooodum has an great DD COR Build.

I have access to all endgame but my game time is limited due to work and RL stuff so i'm only trying to do Einherjar and Limbus basically any event that takes longer than 2 hours i'm not willing to do. I'm more of a rare ex guy kinda lowish on gil especially with cost of bullets lol

75 gear I have atm not any peticular gear set up just stuff i'm currently working with when i hit 75 is

melee/guns: joytoy coffin maker, martial gun,
Corsair's Gun
hats: af
body: af, Denali
hands: crimson
legs: War Brais (working on denali's)
feet: af, denali , crimson, hermes
belts: warwolf,(Volant Belt until i can get the comm. belt)
back: cuch M. , Fowler's Mantle
rings: rajas, garrulous, marksman's ring, dragon ring
earings: suppa, loqua,drone
neck: Ugg. pendent,spects,Crocodile Collar,
kub. beeds(not sure if this works for cor)
I have all the nq staff's

So this is basically what i have so far and looking to add more stuff based on you guys suggestions and ideas.

I have already upgraded the shoes, what would you recomend for upgrading?

for better QD's, I feel Mirke with QD recast-5 its a charm

My opinion on AF Cor Upgrade will always be:
HEAD > FEET > BODY > LEGS > GLOVES

based solely on other readily available gear either R/Ex or AH'd

as far as guns go currently I have 3, and considering going after Corsair's Gun for QD (since im lacking a setup for it)
I have Martial Gun, Peacemaker, and Fane Hexagun.
Fane has Agi+5 Marksmanship skill +5 (or 7? I forget) which Is the one I have been using for QD's

Yeah no doubt Kuz ty, I have a C.Gun sorry i forgot to add that, i'm currently 0/4 on moldys (hoping to get them soon), also i'm going to try for some Rovers they on my to get list now :0 I'm currently looking for a limbus and einherj ls I recently had quit for a few months and droped all my endgame ls :( Also do i need a ls for sea obi's or can I solo the items for them?

That all depends on what the Base Damage is.
See, QD Damage is calculated by Base damage of Gun and bullet, and enhanced by MAB. QD Accuracy is modified by AGI, but people are 50/50 on if Magic Acc comes into play
(I'm a believer in the M.Acc since Rovers came out)
So that Fane gun you have SOUNDS good in theory, but does its Base damage beat out Corsairs gun? if so, Rock on brother. Because that +AGI sounds sweet. (P.S. Marksmanship skill has no bearing on QD)

Sorry made a mistake. Looked up Fane Gun. PLEASE don't use that anymore...
The base damage on it is on par with AF gun... which is level 40.
You could be doing much better.
The Augements may LOOK nice..but your shooting yourself in the foot (no pun) with that Base Damage...

As for the TP set-up Misao, I rocked a Diabolos Torque for a while myself. A good follow up is Qiqirn Collar.


Nah. Just solo it, or go with a few friends. The beauty of the Obi's is... they don't require UFO Organs. just regular mobs. Easily manageable.

ok, tossing fane and getting a corsair gun tonight lol.

I got miself AF2 -1 gloves (still dont have Af2 gloves), was wondering if these Comm. Gants +1would replace Crimson for Tp/ws ?

My personal Opinion is no.
Can't beat +10 R.Acc and +10 R.Att.

I use Pilferer's Aspis not because I sub THF but because it was the only one on the AH at the time lol.

Wow congratz Nice Mamool Ja Mantle, lol another thing just added to my wanted list :o. What was your maze set up? I used to do MMM for my Kogg I hope the drop rate isn't as bad it took months for my kogg to drop and to find enough people willing to help with runs lol.

Brutal is no bueno w/ joyeuse. Unless your acc is capped, a hollow, active minuet, or diabolo's would be equal or better than. Unless the 1 stp makes a diff in your xhit.

I use these gear sets mainly on HNM from this i see around 700-800dmg Slug Shot's on Dark Ixion with a max with brd buffs of 1.4k dmg as cor/rng
