Here's a test looking at Sylvie's buff potency before and after upgrading Trust Magic Skill.

Sylvie's BGwiki page lists indi-Precision potency at level 99 as Accuracy/R.Accuracy+56 and indi-Fury potency as Attack+37.5%.

Behaving as expected, then. Sylvie's atk+4% is maybe the best trust buff yet. Her indi-haste change lets people cap magic haste with Sylvie alone, but she was <1% off before (448-150-294 = 4) and she only uses it for three jobs.

If only she didn't insist on casting haste1 on people, sigh.
The fact she uses different bubbles according to your job is... good and bad I guess.
Ideal would be being able to pick the bubbles you want from a menu, but given that's not possible atm, I guess it's a nice compromise which is good & bad depending on what you want on which job, I guess.

Getting her to consistently use indi-haste and haste1 on people (aka capping magic haste in one party slot) would be a pretty big get. Right now you can only do it with a NIN, RUN, or PLD in party, though.

She only hastes the player doesnt she? Also where does her indi-frail sit at now, 16~17% forgot +geomancy doesnt hit on entrust, so would be 10~%?

Her frailty being 12.5 never made sense. If it's 2.7% per 74 skill.

-2.7 is the baseline at 0 skill, 900 / 74 = 12.1

-12.1 + -2.7 = 14.8

It's not 2.7 per 74 skill it's just written completely wrong. 216 skill per 2.7%

It's 74 skill to go up 1% not 74 skill to go up one potency tier. (7.4 = 0.1)

All that to say with 746 skill she has -12.5%

then with +100 from points it's 846 around -14.1%

Sooooo, to get back to the beginning of the topic, this is what I picked so far:

HP 50/50
VIT 50/50
INT 50/50
MND 50/50
Magic 50/50

And I still have like, what, 30 free points to assign or something?
Might go MP next but for now I'm holding.
My reasoning for those choices was to give of course more survivability to the trusts.
More HP, more VIT to slightly raise defense against physical damage, INT and MND against magical damage.
Magic is to boost the potency of some spells, give them more macc, I dunno, sounds slightly useful.


I'd be all to boost their physical damage/accuracy but until (if ever) they give us an option to "turn off" Trust WS, constantly breaking my multistep SCs, I'd rather have them miss as much as possible.
Less hits landing => less WS breaking my SCs :-P

If someone asked me what I would've wanted from trusts I would've answered "longer duration buffs, more durability, possibility to turn off some things like WS or Haste1".
