Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin sales have been disappointing in Japan.
As shown in a tweet by Game Data Library (that focuses on Japanese game sales data), this latest game in the series is the fourth lowest debut for a Final Fantasy spin-off.
The data is for physical sales in Japan only, but between both PS5 and PS4 the game sold 46,849 copies in its first week.
I don't know how good or bad this game turned out to be, but I do know this is good news for those of us waiting for a dramatic price drop. I think it will be free on Playstation Plus/Xbox Live by the fall/winter.
FF7R, XIV - Endwalker and XIV - Shadowbringers have done well out of the latest FF SE games. Not too big on their mobile side of things but Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia is still going well from what I've seen.
You keep saying that, doesn't make it true. The numbers and widespread fan reception say otherwise. So you're just repeating your really bad opinion based on nothing as hes asking what was successful.
That and probably their cult following. The game followed the exact same forumula as previous expansions, so not like it was doing anything new. Doesn't mean it didn't profit tho, I'm sure that cash shop alone gains them tons of money. They created their candy crush in all aspects.
I actually don't like doing the "soak" thing. I like to get things over with. Whenever I wash dishes, even the dirtiest ones I'll usually try to scrape it off in sections. At worst, I'll give it a once-over every minute or so while I wash other dishes.

God you made me go and read that nonsense. Beyond the fact that popular =/= good the game absolutely does suck. It's a shame, as it has some good aspects, they just butchered the main part of the game. I get it, they're in it to make $ and try to appeal to as many people as possible.
The irony in not seeing the same model being applied to both and hating the one and loving the other is fairly amusing though.

He asked, what game from SE has been successful recently? People told him games that were successful in terms of sales/reviews. You gave your opinion and it didn't even answer his question. If anyone was going off your opinion and not sales and general consensus, they would think the game performed poorly and it certainly didn't. I find it so hard to believe that people with such high post counts can't even read a simple post and understand what its saying lol. It wasn't that long.
