I still think they shouldn't have gone with optical media, the more I think about it the more I shake my head. Then again, unlike Nintendo they have always been optical, so no surprise.

Of course they are, they sell the games at the same rate and have almost nowhere near the cost, literally cutting out the middle-man and risks (well except for they made money when stores bought the titles, but I digress).

They do have a digital only xbone, and I think it's outright stupid, just like a digital only of the ps5. Between patching and having to "install" titles it's insane, at least the switch is the most tolerable about it.

Last I checked official drives it is all marked up, Vita memory cards were insanely priced, same with the Memory Stick Pro Duo™ (until the chinese made the microsd adapters, that are technically illegal).

Digital only ps5 should be the only ps5 available. The discs will serve no purpose other than saving you from downloading like 20-40gb seeing as most of the ***on the disc just has to be day 1 patched anyway.

The system does not need nor does it read the disc after install

lolno, you do realize a lot of places still don't have access to high speed internet, right?

He does have a point about day 1 patches tho, most games come with one and aren't even playable until it's installed.

Anyways, I wish we had seen a God of War sequel at the reveal event, but I guess Sony doesn't really need Kratos to put them over the top.

I still like physical because I can sell my games if I want to, instead of them just vanishing into the ether like when I sold my horrible life choices, also called the wii u

plus I like looking at all the money I waste compiled into an easy to view area, like my bookshelf '-'
