Obama seems to have something against the British because of the slave trade, he really should look to the black people of Africa who actually sold their own people to other nations and stop blaming us for the whole thing.

Obama has a history of being cold towards Britain and has personal reasons for it which I won't bother talking about as you probably all know them already. All I have to say to this is UK should withdraw all forces from Afghanistan and let the Americans get on with it. I'm sure the French will come assist (not).

Where were the French when Bush wanted support for invading Iraq and Afghanistan? Oh yeah, they were busy saying it was an illegal war (which it is) and they would have no part in it.

The UK outlawed slavery long before the US did. Good job. And, illegal war? - because every nation doesn't violate international law all the time to serve it's own ends. Ha.

Also, though this is a lot of supposition, among the European nations, the UK is trending (politically) to the right. To the actual right - not along party line type things, but they are recognizing that the cannot feed/pay/educate/clothe/baby everyone for free and fiscal responsibility and balance is becoming a big thing. Of course Obama doesn't like that.

I think he also hates us because of the Mau Mau uprising, was his grandfather killed there or another relative? I vaguely remember reading something about that a while ago.

In general the British have a much stronger dislike of the French than they do of any other country apart from Germany.

Personally, I don't hold any of the current population of any country responsible for the acts of their forefathers.

Good one! Wow, man - that little graphic that someone threw together really quick really hits the nail on the head? Who knew that a shitty graphic could so accurately explain the views of 300million people, each with a unique and varied background, heritage, upbringing and outlook on life. Not to mention to complex nature of international relations. Pure genius! I would love to sit and talk about what inspired this amazing piece of work, but I have to take my Ford Excursion to Wal-mart to buy some disposable TVs to take with me to the NASCAR race this weekend. Take care, bro!

It's hilarious that someone who helps to instigate anti-American rhetoric and American stereotyping can suddenly find something as trite as that map offensive. If you want people to not stereotype us stop feeding their attempts to stereotype such a large and diverse country that most of them have undoubtedly never traveled to/around.

For Afghanistan JUST SHUT UP ***... Did you know that 50+ people from French army died already for this stupid "WAR" . For Irak is a good thing that we (I am French) didn't go there.. This WAR is a big joke based on a BIG lie from CIA and Bush administration.

I would believe this.. Def put all blame on Bush Administration b.c I'm sure it was all about the oil...

Something about The Bush Administraion and The Clampetts, surely these two have something in common...

OIL??????
