I took mythology, and albeit my teacher was American, I knew atleast how einherjar was supposed to be pronounced-ish...but I still said EYE-n-her-jar on purpose cause thats how its spelled, but lots of other people pronounce it that way because they dont know better. But thats not gear.
everybody I know says as-car and I always said ho-mom lol etoile is eh-twal (omg cant phonetically spell it) not e-toyl. French it means star. Meh, I know I pronounce 90% of the things 'incorrectly', but that's how I'm used to saying them and don't plan on reprogramming my vocab. I always said Charybdis the ghetto way, Chair-E-ba-dees, although the actual pronunciation is something like 'Ka-RIB-a-dis, or something like that.

I could not possibly care less if I pronounce names in this game correctly or not, and frankly, the entire thread seems like a blatantly self-serving attempt to elevate someone's ego, LOL...ah, well. It takes all kinds. 8)

Guess that makes me and you a "'No Tarutaru' silhouette who doesn't know what the *** is going on" The worst pronunciation of any area I ever heard was by a rl friend of mine... he pronounced Beadeaux as Bo-dex... I was like wtf.. how do you figure that?
Other than that, I don't really care how anyway pronounces the areas. I'm sure I pronounce a few of them wrong too. Just one small thought to add, for some reason it drives me crazy on vent~
Usukane = Ooh-soo-kah-nay Not Ooh-soo-kayne ty XD I say La Theine like Luh Th-ee-n, but heard it was actually pronounced Luh Thay-n
