Well, I just did a little background search and found out that: ‘Askar (Arabic: عسكر) is an Arabic word meaning "guard" or "soldier".
Interesting. I take it the Homam set is Italian, or something like that. And Kojo was right about homam(Hoe-mom as opposed to Hoe-mam).
