I can't tell you how much fun this thread is when it's spammed by people who regurgitate everything they read or hear (and one who doesn't have a clue what he's talking about, ever).

Even if this place has always been a cesspool frequented by complete weirdos (disclaimer for Flavin: yes, I'm including myself in that group), at least we used to debate real topics on occasion. Now we've got Beavis and Butt-Head driving the conversation with hundreds (thousands?) of meaningless posts about Trump that are completely useless except to tack a band-aid on their own permanently bruised egos.

I'm astonished that cj isnt ever right...not even occasionally on accident. It's a statistal anomaly.

his entire belief structure is completely unsupported in facts or reality, yet he is suprisingly unwavering. And despite numerous attempts by almost everyone pointing out his inaccuracies he stubbornly refuses to make even the laziest of efforts to verify his gibberish before posting.

he reads an article, then immediately posts about it but he'll still get all the facts wrong... and they are in the article he just read or directly in the post above his,,,,

I suspect he is a russian agent sent here to discredit the democrats. How else could he constantly be wrong if not deliberately?

I think Mueller might be available in a year or so. He is about as unbiased and ethical as you will ever find. No mater what Trump tweets.

Mueller is, the people working under him aren't. I believe that is why he handed off the findings that Cohen might of had not-entirely-honest financial dealings unrelated to Donald Trump. This is pretty much par for the course for high end lawyers, they don't get to be high end lawyers without mucking about a bit. If Mueller would of ignored it, then the Dems would of charged him with "bowing to Trumps pressure", if he pursued it himself it would be been seen as highly suspicious. So instead he handed it off.

The real funny part is this shows the Republicans are not pro-Trump, they would *MUCH* rather have a President Pence or a President Trump controlled in the same manor President Obama was. Remember President Obama was rather rebellious after elected, the Democrats didn't like that he wasn't on board as a puppet and most of his first term was spent battling the Democrats until he finally conceded and become their figurehead for his second term. The Republicans would want to do that to President Trump. The only real difference is this regard is that President Obama was a far more charismatic speaker while President Trump is brutal and direct.

Obama -> "While we don't see eye to eye, I look forward to working towards a common solution" = "You people are idiots"

Trump -> "You people are idiots" = "You people are idiots".

grandma chanti, you've been around the block a few times so I want to get your take on all this russian nonsense.

let's just say, for the sake of argument, that putin wanted trump to win. ok... WHY?

republicans have been at war with the soviet union/russia for a hundred years. russians grow up hating republican far more than even candlejack.... they hate ike, they hate nixon, they hate reagan with the white hot passion of a thousand burning suns. rightly or wrongly they blame reagan's lies for the fall of their once mighty empire.

and conversely, they have been supportive of democrat/liberal/communist/progressive agenda's here in america the whole time. from che posters in the dorm rooms of dopey college kids like zero to the communists Joe McCarthy tried to purge in the 50's

the one unifying prevailing belief in russia has always been that the republicans are evil capitalists and must be destroyed. communism infiltrated academia in college campuses, the SDS, the weather underground, opposition to the vietnam war, hollywood, the media. the seattle weather collective ... it's all right there. a hundred freaking years of absolute hatred of republicans and capitalism... and then they just flipped!?

I'm looking back... trying to see when this abrupt about face might have occurred.... again, just assuming that it happened for the sake of argument... is this moment here perhaps is the catalyst?...

did obama somehow manage to about face a hundred year long cold war against the republicans with these words?

Niky, he wanted Clinton to loose.

Before the conventions the Russian trolls pushed for Bernie remember? And after the conventions they pushed Stein as well as Trump.

Also look at the experience of the Romanian teen facts I don't like machine. They had no real agenda, they pushed facts I don't like to make a buck, and Trump fans were far more avid consumers than anyone else's fans.

You fish where the fish are biting.

ok so again... why?

I don't think you are fully appreciating the magnitude of that statement. We're talking about a sudden reversal in a hundred year long war

so your theory is that putin woke up one day after hating republicans and everything we stand for personally for 63 years and said you know what I hate hillary clinton even more? than the party of ronald freaking reagan?

really?

Putin personally blames Clinton for the sanctions.

He despises her. He also thinks of Trump as a Russian asset, as in useful idiot not fellow traveler.

Also what Shiroi said.

Putin's wanted to destroy the U.S since he was first elected back in George W. Bush's time in office, and it stems from his time as a GRU/KGB agent during the failing days of communist Russia when the KGB and GRU had a lot of political power and influence. As communism fell out of favor, so too did the KGB's and GRU's power and influence fall. This is why a lot of Russian Mafiya bosses and members are former KGB and GRU agents. They turned to organized crime to maintain power and influence, and for any tools needed to destroy the U.S. Dotard and the NRA are just two of many tools they latched onto.

Oh hey, another Putin mouthpiece. Wow, we are blessed to have so much inside information from you guys.

So you then admit there was no "collusion" between Russia and candidate Trump. By making this admission you also admit that the entire Mueller investigation is now running on false pretenses since the object of his investigation doesn't exist.

Russia had more to gain from a Democrat President then from a Republican one. The only benefit for Russia with Donald Trump as President is the immense destruction to the USA that Democrats will create as a response from Hillary losing.

so you believe he set aside this historical 100 year long grudge match to the death with his republican arch nemesis...because hillary clinton is the *** responsible for some pathetic sanctions?

In 1919 Lenin stated that his new state was surrounded by a "hostile capitalist encirclement"

americans aren't the enemy of communism CAPITALISTS ARE in the communist world view average americans are just workers yearning to be free or whatever. REPUBLICANS ARE THE ENEMY

The right wing is the natural enemy of the left. c'mon now.

I think you are a bit too deep into your talking points to remember what the investigation is about.

Quote:
The investigation is examining Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections, including exploring any links or coordination between Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and the Russian government, "and any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation".

So again you admit no collusion between Russia and Donald Trump, the primary purpose of that investigation.

It was created as a fishing trip by the Democrats as an insurance policy to damage any non-Clinton Presidency. The people investigating it literally said this, we have their communications because like non-IT idiots they did everything on electronic devices under the assumption that it wouldn't be stored or recovered.

This isn't to impinge on Mueller who I think is doing a good job considering the circumstances. He's given one job that has a completely different agenda then the stated task by powerful people who want to maintain control of the US Government.

"We want you to investigate Russian interference with the 2016 elections" turns into "We want you to find dirt on Donald Trump or his associates that we can use to control or remove him if needed".
