Good start.
Is that the only qualifier I listed, or the only one you wish to examine?
Next up Income inequality Ok then.
What about employment rate?
According to this Texas has a 4.7% Unemployment rate vs. Washington being at 5.4%
How about labor participation rate?
Another source shows that labor participation rate in Texas was 64.9%, while Washington is at 63.5%, both states being above national average, but Texas is better at it.
Want to go at it with GDP?
Texas GDP: $1.639 trillion.
Washington GDP: $449 billion.
We can do this all day,

Good article on the costs and benifits of corporate welfare.
Carrier deal part of growing trend of corporate tax giveaways
The Hill
Openers:
Quote: President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday traveled to Indiana to announce a deal to keep about 1,000 furnace manufacturing jobs in the state.
The deal would not have been possible without Vice President-elect Mike Pence, the state’s outgoing governor, and it resolves just one skirmish in an increasingly heated war between states for jobs in a competitive industrial marketplace.
Across the nation, state and local governments spend massive amounts of money every year trying to win over companies. Sometimes, experts say, states reach high-profile deals that cost governments more in the long run than they benefit.
In Indiana, officials agreed to hand $7 million in tax breaks to Carrier’s parent company, United Technologies, over the next 10 years in exchange for keeping a furnace plant open in Indianapolis. Company officials had planned to move about 800 jobs to Mexico.
Another 300 jobs in the company’s research and headquarters arms, which were not scheduled to go to Mexico, will stay in Indianapolis, according to details of the plan first reported by The Wall Street Journal.
Such a giveaway is a drop in the bucket in the fierce competition for jobs.... And? And keep reading. I read the whole thing.
It doesn't state anything wrong at all. What's your point in this?

What do we all think of Palin as VA secretary?
Worth it for the mere fact that the libs trigger level will be over 9000.

Wait so you're saying that appointing a person so obviously unqualified for an important position potentially jeopardizing the life and health of veterans is totally worth it for the sake of rustling some Jim jims?
That's some next level trolling right there

Also, I wouldn't call it brainwashed. More of a societal conditioning sort of thing. For it to be brainwashing, there needs to be intent from a person, group, organization etc.

I don't think it's going to matter who the VA secretary is, because most of the problems intrinsic to the VA have to do with the tangled mess that is bureaucracy.
But also, I wouldn't say she's completely unqualified. She was a governor for 3 years. That's only 2 years less than W, and he was our president for 8 years. /shrug

Comparing governing Alaska with governing Texas? I don't know about that.
I agree that agency heads aren't much more than mouth pieces and public figures. The real day to day responsibilities belong to the Deputy Assistant Secretary's.

It gives numbers King. Facts and stats. It doesn't say anything is wrong, it doesn't say anything is right. It states what any business would do to get new customers.
Which is to offer them incentives for buying whatever you are selling.
In these cases, the states are offering tax breaks for corporations to locate new businesses there, because it helps the local economy.
There is nothing wrong, nothing illegal, and most certainly, nothing unethical about it.
What that article does is it paints a picture of possible issues when there is none.
In other words, only weak-minded people will fall for this type of ***.
P. S. Oil is worth more than apples and wheat. You also surpass us in ***. you have WAY more cows then we do. Texas produces a whole lot more than oil and fossil fuels.
You are only stating between 15-17% of the total Texas production. Those figures doesn't even include services rendered.
Nice try.

That's some next level trolling right there I think she along with Romney will push for some good changes in VA policy, yeah they might not be qualified, but then again palin will be working with Romney if what I heard was correct.

Nothing really "reliable". Even the sauciest rumors say that they could get a max of 4-6 electors willing to vote against him, but nothing suggesting that they would vote for Clinton instead. Beyond that, one of the main groups trying to orchestrate this claims to have half a dozen voting against Hillary Clinton, too. I guess the goal would be to destroy faith in the electoral college and not necessarily get Clinton elected. There is no serious threat to Trump.
