The news site's declaration of "#WAR" and call for a boycott came after Kellogg announced that it will no longer advertise on the right-wing site because it isn't "aligned with our values as a company," the Guardian reports. Other companies including EarthLink, Allstate, and Vanguard have also removed their ads from the site, which critics accuse of running racist, inflammatory content and having links to white supremacists.

In an angry response to the Kellogg withdrawal, Breitbart said the decision would make "virtually no revenue impact" on the company, but it represented an "escalation" in a war on conservatives by "leftist companies." "For Kellogg, an American brand, to blacklist Breitbart News in order to placate left-wing totalitarians is a disgraceful act of cowardice," said editor-in-chief Alexander Marlow. Breitbart claimed to have 45 million "highly engaged, highly perceptive, highly loyal readers" that Kellogg had "declared hate" for, though ComScore figures state that the site had 19.2 million unique visitors in October, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The tax breaks apparently offered them more money than what they would save on shipping the jobs oversea. It seems like a band-aid to keep jobs in America but take money out of the tax payers pockets. Imagine if other companies want to make deals like these.

Jobs will stay in America sure, but Companies will just be robbing us of more and more of our tax dollars.

But one thing we do better than any other state is how regressive our tax structure is.

They love to do this here in Illinois. Then 8 months after the payout, the companies still move out of state while keeping a skeleton staff of like 10 people at their new in-state "headquarters".

Chicago-based Mondelez International Inc., best known as manufacturer of the Oreo cookie, is the most recent example of how companies can hedge tax breaks at taxpayer expense, the Tribune found.

Mondelez announced in July that about 600 workers would be laid off from its Chicago factory on South Kedzie Avenue. The production line is being moved to Salinas, Mexico, to save money, officials said.

But Mondelez operates a second manufacturing facility in Naperville that is licensed as a limited liability company, Mondelez Global — a common corporate maneuver for tax and liability purposes.

The Naperville facility received an EDGE contract in 2013 and agreed to invest $35 million in the facility and create 25 new jobs. One arm of the company thus became eligible to receive tax breaks for adding 25 jobs while another arm laid off 600.
