It's okay jiko. There are conflicting reports left and right. I will say, though, that you should check the tier list and silph road stat list, and then determine who your elite 6 will be at the end.

Oh, I have. Endgame always changes though, so I've got a bunch going. I've been keeping all the high% IVs of all types so far incase that pidgey decides to start wrecking...
Just kidding. I evolved all my pidgeys...
A shame some of the high % IVs are tier C/F :\
Edit: But i /DO/ have a 95.6% perfect dratini... Now to find the candy :\
Don't obsess about c.p. I defeated an 1100 c.p. Flarion with a 383 c.p Seel.
Type advantage.
While, yes, you can beat it, its usually a good indicator of the overall strength of it.
All that aside, I really dont like how gym battling is set up atm. 1k/pokemon lost while 6 can be used to knock it down, but only 100ish/pokemon raise when fortifying it and you can only use one? There's really no point in holding them. :\
It's made to be active, I guess. Like, you have to actively defend your gym, not just leave one pokémon to 5600 gyms across the region.
I haven't tried a gym yet, but it's midnight here so I will try to attack the local gym. I don't think I'll be able to defeat the Jolteon that holds it but maybe I can dent it.
Oh while I'm at it, is there a way to rename a Pokéstop? Because the few Pokéstops nearby have completely HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE names (such as "The best castle in the world" and so on) which makes them anything but easy to find for anyone who doesn't know the neighborhood.
No, the names are given through Niantic's historical records. Before Niantic bought them, a bunch of anonymous submittions were put into the records and we're left with, well... that. :p
Yeah, I read it was closed last November or something on Ingress. That sucks because some names are really bad.
I walked around 2h, could never get to the gym as the castle that host it was closed. I could only find one Pokéstop and most of the Pokémons on my path were too far within residences, I couldn't reach most of the good ones.
It's pretty fun though, but I wish I didn't have to already spend money on the game because of the lack of Pokéstops making Poké balls a rare thing.
Well I live in the second biggest city of the country but my home is on a calmer area of the city, so there is less activity in that regard. Even Ingress showed very few things.
My workplace is in the heart of the city, which is why it has a gym there and several Pokéstops, but I rather stay on this side of the city until the dreaded Monday.
I've been capturing non stop, I'm now lv 6 just from capturing stuff. I've only used the Pokéstop twice due to how far it is, got 4 Pokéballs from that.
I'll see how things are on Monday, if I can get a healthy supply of Pokéballs, but if not, it's gonna be rough.
The center of the city is full of them, like, whenever I check it's incredible. Where I live, they're rarer and I have to walk greater distances. I wish they'd apply the same spawn rates to either a whole city or everywhere. I mean, the only difference between the center of the city and where I live is that we have parks/hills, but then we should have more Pokémons nature related.
As for the Pokéstops, I have no clue why they shipped it like that. My friend in Tokyo has Pokéstops on each sides of the streets, every time facing each others, so if you camp one, you at least have two at once. Meanwhile here, it's 15min walk minimum between them. And that's walking fast.
I realize the game itself won't look anything like this until maybe a decade or two of updates, if ever. Even so, I am happy to be alive in this day and age.
For perspective, it is very reminscent but NOT TO BE CONFUSED with Google's April Fool's joke:
