Trust Ciphers!

I was looking at Moogle, Brygid, and Kuyin myself.

Last month was the first campaign where they allowed you to get a big chunk of trusts for 500 points that were only offered in the past through the login campaign.

This month they swapped them all for even more you couldn't get before (minus Lehko, they offer him twice now). I have a good feeling that next month they will offer even more of the previous login campaign ones.

Looks like they will all be coming in time. Moogle and Brygid are looking like good choices for me... but I'm not sure I want to waste a red mog pell on trusts now that we can get Kupofried again.

I haven't been around for one of these events but how time consuming has it been in the past to get the Kupofried trust from these events?

Lekho is there again because this Login Campaign has all non-quested/non-unity/non-extravaganza windurstian Alter Egos from all timelines. Maybe we'll see something like that for the other two nations (or even all colours of trust magic) too in the next months (Cid II - now even chompier teeth! Curilla II - now even more unresolved sexual tension with trust: Trion!).

Yeah the more I look at last months login and this one, I'm almost 100% certain that the others such as moogle or brygid will be available next month or so... they all appear to be making their way back around.

I only cared for Kupofried since I've been gone, but this bahamut event kinda takes care of that problem for me and frees up a mog pell too.

I'll prob get Aldo since I wasn't around during that event and it seems he had the most work to do to get out of the three.

Not that anyone cares at this point, but a Trust's killing blow counts as a pet killing blow in the case of Magian Trials.

Do you think that there will ever be an alternate way to get the 3 Sinister ones? I would like to at some point have all the trusts, and those 3 are 3 of the only 4 that I currently lack...

I'm sure no. The content isn't going away, so they don't really have a reason to offer them through other means like they do for the limited time ones.

Arciela II is gotten through RoV.

Acts very similar to the version you fight in Sinister Reign, a much more aggressive version of Arciela. I saw her using Protect V, Shell V, Haste II, Refresh II, Paralyze II, Slow II and Addle. Auto-attacks hit EXTREMELY hard with Acumen and Malaise up, ranging between 2k and 3k. WS's were hitting for over 5k.

I always used Arcy in my normal trusts setup, so a powered up version is more than welcome for me!

Just double checked into this, on BG according to the .dats the mog pells are not sendable unless I'm missing something.

No worries on the August trust if it's not to be. It was just a thought. I've not done the bonanza in years tbh.

I've been alternating between the two new girls trusts as my fifth character whilst cp-ing for a few hours. They are both really good in my opinion. (and that is an opinion of which I have the highest regard)

Damage output is good as far as I can see when something doesn't die in 3 seconds lol :p

Unfortunately, I don't have people that can help with Sinister to get the trusts, and I am fairly sure that I can not solo them =)
That is why I asked. So, now all I need to do is win a mog bonanza a few times =O

Iroha II uses alot of unique WS that'll sc fusion or light and MB with Flare II.

If anyone was, like me, concerned to a ridiculous degree over whether Arciela II trust would use the same model as in Sinister Reign (with her hair down), rest assured: she does. <3



(Seriously though, I cared more about this than probably anything else in this update. >_>)

Okay, Arciela II is VERY good if you have a skillchain going. She will manage to get off 2-3 bursts using Thunder V, Aero V, Fire V off Light and Water V, Stone V, Blizzard V off Darkness. She has an absolutely insane amount of Fast Cast to pull this off.

She also works very well with Iroha II as Iroha likes to close Light skillchains off your weapon skills and she has extremely high accuracy and meditate. She will also burst Flare II off a Light skillchain.

This is a LETHAL combination especially if you have a Geomancer doing Acumen and Malaise, throwing in Langour for higher level targets.

All of the trusts benefit greatly from Indi-Acumen and Geo-Malaise, with Arciela and Iroha in particular doing absolutely HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE numbers during their frequent skillchains and magic bursts. I managed to wipe out Warder of Hope in just under a minute using this setup. I'll get a screenshot of the damage log next time I do it.

All right if you want to level (job point level) GEO or BLM I suppose lol.

Though it does occur that I am currently cp-ing BLU. And that could certainly do chains with the new girls. Might give your setup a go if I could get August.

Also, I swapped Apururu out as my unity for a wee while to be in bottom placed Ayame's unity just to see if the cp bonus from a lower placed unity is noticeable enough to be worth it.
I can't see a difference so far from 30 mins last night before I went to bed. So probably not tbh.

Unfortunately Arcy 2 doesn't work well with cor :( she casts flurry 2 instead of haste 2 like her other version.
