Just wondering what the deal is with Najelith/Ruguadjeen. Should I bother getting them? Or are they like Lion (cool to look at)?

Naj is a pretty much useless DD and there is nothing special about her afaik. Rug is tank. I haven't tried him, but don't expect him to be good for anything.

Here at my thoughts on the 2. Najeltih is good at low levels til 75. She can use sidewinder at 25 making her very deadly at low levels since she is using a higher tier WS at a low level. Higher levels yeah pretty useless.

Ruguadgeen the same. Good skills at a lower level, strong and powerful, yes a tank but more like a RUN. uses PLD abilities but with a GS. If that helps any?

Yes it does help. I'll use my points on something else, since levelling a different job I could probably get by with just about any other DD trusts.

Thanks

Rughadjeen seemed to favor using Divine Emblem - Holy to start off fights. For WS, he favored Sickle Moon, but also has a unique AoE WS that I forget the name of right now, but it lets off a big white V and was pretty strong. His GS is apparently an upgraded Algol with constant added fire damage.

EDIT - Its called Victory Beacon.

Gilgamesh:
-Tachi: Kamai (closes darkness with CDC)
-Hasso
-Iainuki (looks epic, closes light with CDC)
-Tachi: Kasha
-Double Attack trait (maybe Zanshin, not sure)
-Hagakure
-It seems that he tends to save tp until about 1500 and wait to close SC

Margret:
-Double Shot
-Sharp Shot
-Stealth Shot
-Barrage
-Once she did double shot > sharp shot > stealth shot > barrage. Coincidence?
-Arching Arrow
-Decoy Shot
-She is SLOW and saves tp until around 2000
-Sidewinder
-Piercing Arrow

Kukki-Chebukki:
-Spams nukes matching the day of the week... but that includes ga and ja... no, thanks.

lol, maybe Kukki's like me and always wants to use his obis. :P He is from CoP after all!

Also, for those like me who like seeing which Trusts will react to each other's presence:

Gilgamesh reacts to Aldo, Ayame, and Lion.
Kukki-Chebukki reacts to Cherukiki, Prishe, and Tenzen.
Margret reacts to no one. :(

Aldo, Ayame, and Lion react to Gilgamesh.
Cherukiki and Prishe react to Kukki-Chebukki.
No one reacts to Margret. :P

"you have the same look as my daughter" is not the same as "you look the same as my daughter"

Basically, you have the same determined look in your eye, or something of that sort.

Messed around with Rughadjeen at lower levels, his greatsword seems to have the same traits as Algol. The added fire damage from his regular hits consistently do 30 damage, even when he's level 1, making him pretty useful for low level stuff. He can also triple attack, which is pretty significant, especially on a weaponskill. I did this on a mule though, so the only other Serpent General I could pair him with was Najelith. Was too lazy to test to see if they had any bonuses though.

So are there any DD trusts that are better than the others in terms of doing more damage, or do they pretty much all do the same damage? I'm liking Gilgamesh so far, which is doing a consistent 30%~ while I'm on geo/dnc farming points.

Only "problem" with Kukki is he is pretty much useless on Light/Dark day since he spams nukes of the day.

And yeah Gilgamesh wrecks anything, I was lvling my Smithing Alt to 70 with trust and used him from Lv50-70 and his 2 unique WS are very powerful.

If someone could post on the OF about how stupid Koru is with his vert timing, that would be phenomenal. I only ever saw 2 RDMs in my entire time playing this game dumb enough to do something like this.

I can deal with the wasted mp on debuffs, but this is fail.

Sorry but it's just a really bad coincidence. Koru doesn't take spells or ws's into account when he converts. Whenever a certain mp percentage is reached he will use it. He could probably be tweaked to wait for the best moment, but I doubt SE will give you such a powerful ally. Trusts are intentionally risky / dumb. It's why so many DD jobs (and even tanks) have AoE weaponskills. Or why all black mage jobs like to cast -ga spells or spam the most powerful magic regardless of enmity.

I mean he does it all the *** time lol. 3 times in a row today he's waited literally until an upheaval then converted into it. Astronomical odds.

It'd be nice if there was just a touch of logic in it. If enemy hp < 50% don't convert. Something. Anything lol.

Or he could stand the hell back. And not be right on the players *** so he doesn't get hit by AoE (as easily) it's not like he melees.
