Just a shout out to a good friend that has just passed away from cancer.

To all those who knew him on Titan, I just thought you all deserved to know. Even if you didn't know him, he is and will always be one of us.

He passed earlier today 2 days after his life expectancy. He fought bravely and will be truly missed. Thanks all.

Being on Hades/Cerb my entire FFXI career I never had the pleasure to meet him but it's always sad to see someone die of cancer, particularly at such a young age. RIP

My god.

I remember Sreang from back in the days of vengeance. He accidentally put Esar's krakken club up on AH thinking he was putting something else up, and Senseless ended up buying it with his life savings of 200k-ish.

Sreang was mad chill, it really makes me sad to see him go at such a young age. Deepest condolence to his family and friends.

Sometimes we play this game like robots, this kind of stuff make me feel we're bad humans cause we constantly forget there is a human behind each (non-mule) character.

Been almost a year since I had this happened to me while deployed I lost someone from cancer I knew well ingame. It's a good thing though because they aren't in pain any longer and can rest, but a shame because the world will miss what those people have to offer.

It's touching that you took the time to share this and a screenshot.

I had a friend from years ago who was young (17) and very sick but noone ever knew what he was sick with. He felt the dignified thing to do was keep that private.

I still wonder about him, miss him, and always hope that he did just simply move on from the game, and is living an okay life somewhere.
