Will be kind of hard for DW to beat a 5-hit Ukon. By kind of hard, I mean neigh-impossible.

Another Dual Wield trait is never going to compete with 10% haste from Hasso and MUCH harder hitting Weaponskills that Great Axe delivers.

Doubtful.
Unless the WAR sucked and had no clue wtf they were doing.
A good WAR full timing Hasso and Retaliation would outparse an Apoc DRK at 75, and just about every other job other than a polearm sam.

The only way DW outparsed GA at 75 was if you had Ridill and were /NIN, but nonetheless there were times when it was the way to go. If /SAM was an option then GA won, no contest.

The mathing out of it backed it up too. And yes that was assuming hasso and double march/haste spell and full haste gear. I'm sure tiger still probably has the links and such.
Now if you said axe/ridill yeah that only beat non hassoing gaxe wars

I've been looking for Shoggoths, I'm hoping the MNK's and DRG's I encountered the last few days will be available. I've solo'd everything else (Including Fistule for a RNG friend) as Beastmaster with Dippy before, it's incredibly frustrating being blocked by this *** hecteyes. Easily the worst TII VNM.

Shoggoth isn't that bad unless you are like soloing/duoing. Decent tank with decent MDT set works wonders on it even at 75.

You can duo him pretty...gay fight but was me on bst using bloodclaw and my friend wolfshadow on whm takes around 10mins with reward and maybe another jug if he chainspells blizzards :(

Ive been playing since ps2 release, and 3 years is still a very long time especially considering its time youve devoted to a video game lol.

I was still a n00b but was gunna lvl drg on alt cause drg was awesome back then even with summon wyvern being your 2hr and no way to heal it without resting

Seriously though, I don't understand the Cloudsplitter V. Rampage question? Rampage is better, especially in Abyssea. From Personal Experience though, Cloudsplitter performs pretty well on High-Level things, sort of the Magic-Equivalent to Gekko. This is a Warrior thread, so I can't really comment there, but for Beastmaster, I'm sure with Farsha's Aftermath, it's well worth the upgrade.

Anyone think it will be worth it to do a MND/STR build for Cloudsplitter? With Aftermath processing, which would be a better spam?
