I think Sucker Punch is an excellent movie. in fact I LOVED it...my husband, son, and son's friend, however, only liked the action/combat scenes...they just don't understand the nuances of the plot. If you watch it, I urge you to pay close attention to everything, especially the opening and ending "narrations"...It's a GREAT movie, IF you understand...
I thought it was amazing! and there's nothing better then a bunch of super hot chicks in super hot gear shooting super hot guns and wielding super hot swords...but that could just be me >.>

Stupid plot, stupid ending.
Care to elaborate? Or is stupid the only word available to your vocabulary?

Won't ruin the ending for people, but the whole thing was predictable from the minute she starts the "Quest" she "dances" and becomes a samurai, then a military person with her friends to dragon slayers while getting these stupid items to save herself. If you paid attention the ending is pretty much in the first 5-10minutes of the movie.
I miss pre-abyssea where party leaders got respect and people knew what their jobs were. And people listened to the rest of the alliance.
/sigh
GJ SE for making the game so easy that people don't know how to play their jobs well. Especially a BRD.
ah yea thats one of the reasons i decided to stop playing for a while...met a few capped jobs that had no idea how to actually play their jobs and super gimp to the point to be annoying
edit: im super gimp myself though lol...guess im a hypocrite? lol

well I thought it was crafty...but all of the guys in my house thought it was "meh" so whatever. Maybe it's a chick thing...I dunno, I don't know a single other chick that has watched it besides myself.

My at-the-time-gf liked it too. I just thought it was kinda dumb.
That's really nothing new though... the only difference is instead of armys of people that dont know how to play the 3 - 6 jobs they have leveled they now have everyjob leveled. Was nothing hard about leveling in old ffxi it was just a time sink and any new abilities you would learn while leveling you should have learned the ins and outs of in about 20min.
I don't either, yeah there was some predictable stuff (if they hadn't lingered so long on the items to complete her journey when she arrived there it may have helped with that a bit, I think" in it and at first it's a tad confusing but it keeps you guessing "is it a cover?" "is the entire thing her imagination?" "did they do the procedure yet?" and then "...wait...but...why?"
I thought it was great. And I very much likes how the "blood" in each adventure changed...light, steam, ash, glass....I'm a sucker for little things like that though.

Ina, the thing is, with book burns and abyssea exp burns, people just flat out not try to learn the jobs. I mean in the hours they're there, instead of using their brains and, let's talk about the BRD for a sec, buffing and pulling and sleeping, they just stand there, and, well, fight the mobs with the shitty melee damage they do.
I've been seeing mages meleeing lately too. It saddens me!
but being a thf, they make perfect SATA targets to teach them to *** off the mobs and start *** healing and doing thier jobs.

Don't get me wrong, burning a job is good and saves you alot of time, but if you don't learn the job beforehand or at least try to after before you toss it in a situation where it is needed then you would just be better off not on that job.
I burned a few of my jobs up and a good portion of of during it I was researching the job lol.
I forgot the plot. >Guy tells her 4 items she'll need; and says one special item she'll find later (Obvious item is obvious at this point) she teams up with 4 other girls(hi one item each) I won't go into it more since I'd be ruining the movie if I did so D: But pretty much I felt they ran the whole movie within the first minutes of the movie.(When she arrives, anyway.)
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
