I love reading.. I wish I could have a huge library one day.. I feel like everything is going to go digital and books will be just things you find in the goodwill or thrift stores. I hate that :/

Hardcovers are lovely, true, but they take up a LOT of space on a bookshelf and are a pain in the butt for us poor newly-graduated people who move a lot. Also because I can never remember the name for the other kind of books so I call them soft shell, like a burrito. Drives my husband crazy.

"Can I have this book when it comes out in soft shell? :D"

"Why, are you planning to eat it?"

This saddens me. While I enjoy being able to digitally download certain books simply for the convenience and price. (Damn you heavy ***, expensive textbooks!) I can't read books very well in electronic format. It's just harder for me to get into them that way. Besides, I like the feel of a heavy book in my hand, and the smell/feel of the paper as you turn a page. It's hard to replace that experience with Nook or w/e.

I find it really hard to read books of any sort, I have a problem concentrating on text, for some reason I feel in a rush to scan over it as quickly as possible.

Not everyone can do this... When I read I tend to block out most of everything and it's pritty similar to watching a movie. I see the character, hear their voices, everything just kinda flows together and I can almost forget I'm actually reading the words. Other people just see the words and it's more like someone telling them a story rather then watching it unfold I think.
