(anyone know a good program to rip audio cd's in high quality, possibly flac, or another lossless?
The Sat captions should be more configurable than the TV's (ie can make it smaller and stuff so it doesn't block ***)
you would think, but the only boxes I've played with had on/off, TV's were usually more configurable.
go figure.
on another note: we lost all digital broadcasting here, or according to the Comcast guy even the local over the air is encrypted now and we need a box, which is BS it's supposed to be able to picked up with a digital tuner...
(to reiterate we don't have cable, but I saw a Comcast guy and asked him if he knew anything about the local broadcasting today). I need to look into it more, we did get the channels, now de don't and I've tried two sets with digital tuners...
