In todays news thr mayor wants everyone to keep their AC at 78 degrees. I dont believe Green Cable can survive such pressure for so long.

100 degree weather today, followed by intense winds and storm and a really bright sun down. I set my AC to 60, I'm doing my part

Thinking better, maybe the constant excessive usage of C: drive by Windows is a tactic to push users to send the data to the Onedrive?
It is impressive how Im constantly nder 15GB of free space, even on my work laptop despite I 1. only saving stuffs on my D drive and 2. having at least twice clean up all ununsed files and programs. At some point, I managed to get to 30GB opened space, but Im again under 10GB. Im really lost with this stuff. So annoying how much junk this computer stores without my consent or acknowlegement.

You may be right, but AI has really lowered the barrier to entry a lot. AI has been trained on a billion pedantic conversations between Linux nerds, so it is really good at answering questions about it and helps with the migration from Windows quite a bit.
I finally made the jump and I'm basically done with Windows.

Windows policy is always making the system explore the maximum capacity from the near top capacity in its generation. My home laptop had only 2 or 3 years after release, and it already didnt meet the "recommended" requirements for Windows 11 (back then). It sure does run without issue, but that just shows they plan the new versions considering the users will be using a modern hardware. Funny thing, they create shits and stuffs considering the latest specs, while functionally Windows didnt change that much from 10, for example. Most changes are cosmetic, but heavy consuming, to make sure your computer is always at max usage even for simple tasks.
