I just did an escape room for the first time. There were some clocks in the room set to different time zones. One of the clocks was set up wrong (Honolulu time was set two hours after Los Angeles time when it should have been before, and we were using the Honolulu clock as our reference point). Their mistake lost us 10 minutes. I tried explaining it to the employee running things and he got snippy with me. Luckily we still beat it in time, but come on.
What are your experiences with escape rooms? Are they usually good or somewhat scuffed like this one?
Had the option to do one, once, at a convention I went to with friends. We got in line for it, but the people ahead of us opted into the extra hard package or some such nonsense, so the people running it told us that the wait time doubled.
So we got bored, and went off to do other stuff, and never came back to it before it closed for the day.
youtube is getting so tiring. I saw someones collection video, go to post a link to a picture of mine to show them and it auto deletes, ok whatever. Then in the video he mentions his figures kept moving, I said to get some museum putty on AMAZON. And then it auto deleted. Like, you can't dislike videos, you can't leave links you can't even chat about anything.
Surprised no one has said anything about the new Frieren season.
Good so far.
Yeah I heard good things. I just (mostly) don't like to watch an ep per week so I just wait for the full season to be close to over. I have a bunch of other stuff to watch.
I feel like since pandemic, Isekai is one of the most popular genre in manga/anime world.
That is explained by how much they overuse this genre. It is hilarious how much those guys can stretch the base concept and add the most bizarre uniqueness on it.
The last bizarre isekai I followed is one where the protagonist was isekai-ed and reincarnated as.... a tree! A frigging TREE.
Imagine a story where your protagonist is a tree...
Anyway reasons why isekai is so popular seems related to the subconscious desire of the average japanese worker, in face the hardships in japanese adult society, feels like "escaping" this world and restart anew, in a game-like world where he is not just your average salaryman, but a force of nature, to combat the evil.
Every single season, maybe 4 or 5 new isekai animes are released. With the most wide range of quality. But generally low quality, to increase the reward.
And they sell. Thus why they are so damn popular in current world.
As Im on a break of Palworld, Ive been feeling the urge to play like anything.
Sure, I spend w way lot of time while playing Palworld last year, but there was an interesting side effect: I could multitask playing and watching/hearing videos, and by doing that, I consumed a shitload of every type of content.
So, in the end, it wasnt a "waste of time" playing. I amassed a lot of knowledge by doing it, even if only partial because I was dividing attention.
Now there are a couple of videos I think very interesting to watch, but that I dont feel like simply standing still watching. I would do if I could multitask with something else, but I have no gaming on, and the other stuffss Ive been doing with my time require full focus (studying and video editing).
Maybe I will pick older games and start recording. I was thinking either redo Yugioh Forbidden Memories, or Digimon 1.
I knew this for over a decade, but one thing I noticed is, maybe because of boredom or desensitization, anything that was “underground” in the past suddenly rise to mainstream in the present
But I admit, mixing NTR with RPG is something I wasnt prepared for
I wonder how many words that title takes in Japanese.
The full JP name is "Osananajimi Kanojo no Morahara ga Hidoi nde Zetsuen Sengen shite Yatta: Jibunrashiku Ikiru Koto ni Shitara, Nazeka Tonari no Seki no Kakure Bishoujo kara Kokuhaku sareta".

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
