I watched the video, I didn't see any feminist propaganda in that cutscene.

I read that MJ tried(but failed, lol) to save peter because she loves him. It's a scene that communicates relationship between the characters, it's not feminist propaganda. Nor I see MJ being physically stronger here.

Peter was knocked out because he was hit by a refrigerator. Maybe his reflex was hindered from being shocked at the situation. He is still a human mentally, after all. It's a very reasonably reaction.

After that it's entirely MJ being damsel in distress, which is pretty much the opposite of feminist propaganda.

I think you just read too much in this scene and view everything with a political lens. It looks like feminist propaganda because you already made such assumption.

I find it kinda weird that when you see a character not behaving as expected, your first assumption is "politics!!!!"

If I see a character not behaving as expected, I would assume this character is in a stressed mental state first. It's a common writing technique to change character behavior slightly when they are depressed, angry or stressed.

So I don't think it's fair to say spiderman's behavior in this scene is feminist propaganda. It's well within the normal use of writing technique.

Well, I watched, and first impression was about Zorim, that, at first glance, really really seemed like Win11.

Tbf, there is a couple of aspects of Windows 11 that made worse the experience compared to previous version.

I used Ubuntu during university like more than a decade ago, and the experience was quite bad so much I jever tried again. Also, because the Windows 7 was quite good.

I also am not liking where Windows as a whole is heading with this *** of WaaS.

Maybe its time to give Linux a new chance?

I just saw the starting page of Zorim, and it really surprised me positively.

I use Win11 and it's customized with ExplorerPatcher. Can remove ads and such. You can make Win11 to look more like Win7 with that tool... flawlessly.



If you are looking for advanced security and privacy but not for gaming. Maybe give Whonix a try? Which runs Tor and acts as a gateway, and the Whonix-Workstation, which is a completely isolated network.

Most Linux distro UIs were in a weird place about 10 years or so ago. They had some growing pains trying to catch up to other operating systems and, as are result, were pretty bad. IIRC even a bunch of mainline kernel devs complained about how bad they were. They were slow, clunky to use, and the overall user experience was pretty bad. Over time, it did get better and has improved a fair bit. I'm not gonna advocate it's the best thing ever, but it is better than it was 10 years ago.

The FOSS ecosystem, Linux in particular, has a lot of problems but they have made a lot of improvements towards usability. The reason individuals don't use it as a workstation often is that (for varying reasons, mainly dev issues and a smaller userbase) most software isn't available for Linux (esp games but other stuff too). The reason corporations don't use it is due to it being more challenging to manage at scale and some FOSS equivalents for productivity (e.g. LibreOffice/OpenOffice) just aren't up to par. You'll find a lot of software has alternatives that are native to Linux, but their functionality is limited or they are buggy compared to their normal counterparts.

It's easy enough to try in a VM and see what you think before full committing to it. I'm not gonna advocate anyone go out and use any of them, they have their place, but it is better than it was a decade ago by a long shot.

Just fyi, I got at least 3 different Chinese OS names(Kylin family, UOS and Deepin) from the first page within 10 sec of Google search. Using Brave or Duckduckgo only gave me Kylin family as answer, no info on UOS at least not within first dozens of search results.

Duckduckgo's search results also lack variety, as many results came from the same source which narrows down my options to pick an answer. Google gave me results from multiple sources on the first page, which is inherently more useful.

If Google wants my info, let it be. I prefer better and faster results and Google algorithm is tough to beat by other competitors imo.

Gandalf first appeared in 1937 long before Raistlin in 1984 and Elminster in 1975. Too easy to try to outdo someone that’s been around for so long.

Gandalf is at least 10,000 years old. Raistlin is between 27-47 I think? Elminster is 1267.

Meh, I was hoping that stupid federal buyout offer would go away today, but I guess a judge halted it and extended the deadline. No one at my office is accepting it, it read like it was originally written in crayon. No one at my old Chicago office is accepting it either, they are definitely lying about how many people actually took it.
