Ugh I despise those command double sided adhesives that claim to hold pictures on walls etc, they are so bad. I had one stay for a year because I was lazy to nail it in, and it fell. I need to watch a science video in wtf happens to these things to randomly fall after a year.

It's really as simple as the chemicals and the weight. It slowly stretches .001mm a day and eventually lets go.

At this point, i think i would work way LESS if my job was fulltime at office.

I just have a shitty challenge at my hands: damn security teams decided to shutdown some old servers and that simply made not viable an important client project. Now im this entire weekend trying to find the error to make another solution viable. All that to deliver like tomorrow. And im still not sure whats the *** problem because certificates is just a damn hell…

I miss those times when, after 18h, it was simply shutting down my notebook and go to red light

Though this does remind me of someone saying I couldn't solo Sedna as a level 90 WHM back in the days where 99 was a fresh level cap. Even betted 10m Gil on it.

I eventually did solo Sedna as said level 90 WHM about half a year later of that challenge, but I had stopped talking with that person already and never bothered asking for it. More of a pride point than anything else and was my final hurdle before breaking the 90 level cap.

Most people do, it's a fact. Back when I used to work in an office doing the same line of work I'd be bugged by people every few minutes asking me stuff they'd know if they just sat there and thought about it for a few minutes. And depending on the person, they'd use it as an excuse to stick around and chat about their life for an hour or two.

Actually wondering if I'll see Trick or Treaters this year. Last couple of years due to Pandemic Warden, haven't seen any(that's what I assume anyway).

It's just a bit above freezing, so I'm not sure how many trick or treaters we'll get this year.
It's just always the awkward point of watching across the street to see when they turn out their lights once it quiets down. Almost becomes like a game to see who'll shut it down last. lol

Bad enough when it's cold. When it's cold and precipitating, it's really bad. I remember as a kid one time going out when it was a mix of rain and snow. My costume was sandwiched between a thick parka underneath and a clear plastic covering on top.

No joke, some lady asked me if I was dressed as a garbage bag. The parka made me bulky, as in the shape of a garbage bag, and the clear plastic over my black costume made it look like it was black plastic.

I mean, it's funny looking at the weather like "I hope there's no snow for the kiddos' sake" and having people from in the States like "It can snow up there already?" Yuppers... basically anytime from Halloween to end of April is fair game for *non-liquid form precipitation* Then Jessi will know all too well that planning anything for May Long is just asking for trouble as well. lol

Calgary area got smashed a week and a half ago by a foot and a half of snow. Which it's crazy how it's shifted to them getting it like that the past few years, yet before we'd be up here in Edmonton getting a blizzard and Dad's friends in Calgary area would call us like "Nah, we were out golfing even! Sucks to be up there" For reference, it's a shade under 200 miles apart.

I'll probably just chill by the front door so the dogs get less freaked out by people ringing the doorbell/knocking tonight.

Cold rain on Halloween as a kid is infinitely worse than Snow. You try being a toilet paper mummy in a deluge!!!

The only month my hometown doesn't have snow on record is August.

It's regularly very cold here on Halloween. Today it's actually slightly better than usual at about 7 degrees above freezing.

The trick-or-treaters at my house are in for a treat tonight! Pure Belgian Chocolate. :)

We don't get trick or treaters where I live.

At a friend's place in western WA today, she doesn't get them either.
