I'm still a bit miffed about not getting to play musketeer to 30 to unlock MCH.

I do like the DNC story, even if it is short. Theme song rocks too.

I unlocked DNC on Generic Idiot and never touched it since. I did that with a lot of jobs actually lol.

On Generic Person, outside of the Land/Hand jobs, I only unlocked WAR/WHM/DRG.

Meh, hit the level scaling wall when I reached the next dungeon. It was telling a good story too, hopefully I can find some generic crap on the market board to bump up my ilevel a few points.

Don't forget you can spend Poetics on gear in Rhalgar's Reach for some ilvl boosting too if you have some Poetics banked.

This year has been so insane that none of those words mean anything to me anymore, but they are all familiar. Last thing I did in 11 was make my wife and my best friend geo adoulin weapons before taking a break.

Need to get a cheap tower that can run 11 and log in on the next free day to try and rustle up some old memories amd see if anyone I know still plays.

GCD DDR 14 didn’t do it for me sadly, think I’m too jaded by from software

14 tells a great story, its the only reason I reactivated. I'm honestly not interested in the daily grind for poetics/whatever to upgrade gear that will be obsolete in a month. If I can skate by doing the minimum amount of dungeons, I will be happy. In other words, carry me.

The visuals are really nice but its filled with dumb fetch quests that have nothing to do with the story and it really kills it for me.

xiv story and crafting/fishing are great. like really good. the end game content will always be dance dance revolution + hitting your rotation are perfect as possible. nothing really changes in that regard. you're just spamming that between cut scenes.

Got invited to a casual FC, so that was a nice gesture. They noticed I had all the jobs leveled, I had forgotten about that. Except Machinist, *** that job.

Anyone worked in the military before? I am on a 3 week lockdown right now its *** depressing bored my mind out on a serious note really mentally unstable god damn it. Maybe i should stop checking new year parties snapchat from friends. I saw the fire works from the guard post :(. Final fantasy dimensions is not helping :(

Partway through last year I decided to uninstall the only social media app I had on my phone (Facebook) because it was doing nothing but amplifying my depression. I've felt so much better since then.

It's hard. As long as it's there, you feel compelled to check it. And then you look at it and it's just nothing but politics and comparing your own life to other peoples' accomplishments. And it just makes you feel bad. That's why I just outright uninstalled it, so even if I feel that compulsion I can't act on it. And now I don't miss it at all.

MCH is actually pretty fun now I feel, though it's a decently high APM class in it's burst phase which happens relatively frequently. I enjoy it when I want to button smash things, lol
