Hey, just doing some current state of the game research/reconfiguring my gamepad :P

I can't decide which job to work on :O idk what's useful these days lol

GEO, BLM, RUN, PLD are probably the most in demand jobs right now.

Rune Fencer got good huh :o! Guess I could reactivate my other character with 99 Rune hmmm.

Vyre was WAR main with quite a few gearsets for all the frontline style DPS like SAM and MNK and such. The PDT/MDT sets seem to all be for WAR though lol. He also had COR and BLU, though neither ever got properly geared for the time, they were like bare minimum functionality for 99. xD

Yeah, most people dont use heavy DDs for anything these days. Only BST onry, which is a strat i don't personally approve of.

Omg Sittin' On The Dock of the Bay just came on my pandora. Add one letter and it goes from a decent song to one of the best toilet songs ever.

Oh noes ;_; the zergin' days are gone. But hey, it sounds like 2005 XI. Total mage superiority, with a dash of odd pet job and PLD.

Trying to figure out what I need to do to get it to oversample or whatever so that everything goes smooth instead of pixely and jagged. My friend Fyea helped me with it before, so I didn't screw up anything in the registry, but I can't remember what he had me alter.

There's an XIclopedia page on it, but it doesn't really explain a lot. It tells me what a bunch of stuff is, but it doesn't make suggestions or give many examples. Pretty much like, "Make backups and don't *** up!"

Playing Knights of Pen and Paper 2 myself, so far pretty much the kind of sequel you'd want if you liked the first one.

Well in Diablo III I'm at Torment 7/10 and up to rift lvl 33.

Thinking witch doctor was a bad choice for my seasonal main instead of pretty much everything else lol.

I recently migrated from Windows XP to Windows 7 (I kept the XP install for work reasons) and I noticed that FFXI became more jagged on W7 than it was on XP with the exact same settings. I didn't reinstall FFXI on the W7 OS because the FFXI files are visible for both OSes so I just make it so the same install was usable for both. Worked a charm.

Anyway I believe that has to do with newer Windows having older Direct X stuff output redirected through the newer interfaces and due to that further graphics processing is happening which in turn reduced the image quality. I went to the nvidia driver settings and set the slider into "performance" position which reduced the effects to the minimum. That actually made FFXI look a lot better.

But obviously it hurt the image quality for newer stuffs.

Lina's been really helpful though :3c Probably gonna drive her insane with all my questions.

Kinda weird walking around the mostly empty cities, and then the people you do see are all like BLU, THF, BLM, etc. Same thing in the LS list Lina got me in xD I'm not sure what to do. Work on BLU, work on THF, work on RUN, or just try to be a snowflake WAR or some ***.

Can you come as WHM/GEO/COR?

Is THF still a player cause of TH or what? Some new debuff effect?

Also, you mean I can get the empy WSes now? How :o?

People talking about FFXI here? What is this, it's almost as if this was a FFXI forum..
