I don't think anyone can speak for the entire gender. We'll all biased by our experiences.

As I said earlier, in my experience, women cheat more.

And for the record, everybody lies. But men are more likely to lie about cheating than women.

I've been cheated on. I found out through friends. He tried to deny it until I told him I had already been told the details of said affair. So, if we're basing it off experience only, men cheat more often than women and will lie about it!

And girls don't really admit the truth.

There's something called the "1.5 rule". It means that whenever a girl tells you something, in order to obtain the truth you multiply it by roughly 1.5.

For instance:

"I only spent like 50 dollars today."
(She spent at least 75$)

Guys, on the other hand, have the .75 rule.

"This cost like 200 bucks, dude."
(Cost no more than 150)

You're funny though, Spence. Let's say I did post "sources" to "prove" my point. Would that change how you view the subject? Probably not. Would it be better if I said "in my opinion..."?

Just curious, do you think a woman's sex drive is the same as a man's?

They're not but its way easier for girls to cheat. If I wanted to I probably couldn't.

My gf, on the other hand, could probably cheat ten times a day, probably just walking to class.

When my parents divorced, it was because my mom cheated on my dad. Not vice-versa. When my ex-best friend split up with her boyfriend, it was because she cheated. Not him. I don't know, and I don't think there's any way to know for sure. But in my experience as well, men are the loyal ones and women are the ones who stray.

I've also read an article somewhere that claimed that when a man cheats, his wife/girlfriend is more likely to be upset and hurt over the emotional betrayal. But when a woman cheats, her boyfriend/husband is more likely to be upset and hurt over the physical betrayal. Interesting. It would be nice if people didn't betray each other at all, though. :/

Point taken about the first bit, but I felt your response to the idea that women may cheat more was a bit naive.

I can't say for certain on the second bit, I'm not a woman. I know on average I have a quite a sex drive, and I know women aren't prudes.

Often I think it's just a act of opportunity.

If she's willing to offer to one person who's to say there wouldn't be more?
If someone is going to cheat they're going to, regardless of who it's with.

The fact that you posted this just a bit after the post in the link (the blog post is from 12 days ago) had me baffled, as they're the same topic.

Going by my experiences... The absoute hornyest people I've known have all been women. In addition to the one I mentioned before there was one who only got to see her boyfriend thursday night - sunday night and we could actually tell what day of the week it was based off how deprived she seemed to be. Another had been seeing this guy and they had sex. An hour later she was out, met this other guy and had sex with him 20 minutes later (no alcohol involoved), to this day she still thinks there is absoutly nothing wrong with that. Another my one friend and his GF have sex 2-3 times a day and she is always complaining that they arn't having enough.

I'm not saying men arn't the same way sometimes but people seem to think that a woman is easily satisfied and therefor less likely to cheat when thats not true. And I've never met a man who cheated (I've known a few) that will claim there is absoultly nothing wrong with what they did... We need Ninnian in here!
