Making a million gil in FFXI is as easy as making $9332.28 in real life. If you imagine gil = Yen, lol
Pretty sure 1mil Gil is faaaar cheaper than that.
I'm talking earning/making it, not buying it. You can't 'buy' real life money, unless you're a prostitute of some kind, lol.

Depends on how good you are at investing, gambling, etc. and how much capital you already have. I thought about it but XI had ways of providing at different stages, enough for me to survive quite nicely. First job to make money was harvesting red moko grass and prostituting out my teleport spells. :D

I bought 15mil that one December, for like $15~20?
