I had also just gotten off the highway about 2 minutes prior, if that... a few minutes sooner and I'd be dead, as it would have happened at 60-80mph (I forget what I was going).

I just had a pretty good day. Took the kiddos outside, sat in the grass and just analyzed the ***out of a poem. I got a lot of awesome stuff from two of the classes; the third one was afraid of sitting in grass, so they sat at tables and would NOT stop chatting.

No rather I need drinkS... Teaching is exciting and fun for me. I can't help but brag about my students, especially when they do something awesome in class, like when the lightbulb goes off and they all get excited about what they learned. That ***makes my heart soar.

I have an Arduino, but if I wanted to have more options, that would be a thing to do.
I just can't program for ***, I need to find a few months and just sit down and fiddle with stuff, as I want to design boards, it would save me a lot of $/effort if I can program them myself, instead of trying to give somebody my spec, and have them do it for me. I could always pay a consultant for when I have issues though. I really need to spend more time on this, as it's one of my chosen career paths, and if I do decently enough I can just work from home. meh, I'd say it's taken a pretty good foothold in it's intended market, it's meant for educational purposes, and I think it hit that off pretty well.
It wasn't meant to be a high end device. that being said, I could probably use a spare laptop hard drive with mine, and a 7" screen I have somewhere and convert it into a little media player. I'll have to find all the parts though, I think I've gotten decent enough in linux now to give another whack at it, I hadn't really touched it at all the first time. |
