Most people who use FFXIAH I don't see moving to XIV Pro just for news or discussion. They want to be able to see random threads like lolpics and RT/Ni, and XIV doesn't have that.

There should be a way to show a single thread in multiple sections. There are times when a single thread goes over more than 1 topic. For example it might be discussing Limbus and RNG at one time, or asking XI players what their XIV name is.

A topic like that should be displayed in the XI forum, but it should also be displayed in the XIV one as well. It's relevant to both members of each site. I've struggled with this greatly when trying to find a location of topics that talk about more than one thing at a time, or that there really is no single location it belongs.

scragg has it seperate, ffxiah is ffxi and ffxivpro is for ffxiv. quiz's thread was another random thoughts thread for ffxiv, i moved it in the ffxiv area.

for mods, we can see all topics from both but i thought he did it once before but was a mess or something. he can probably do that but then youll have the ppl ask, why do i see ff11 threads for ff14 site, etc vice versa.

ffxivpro wasnt used much because of the 1.0 failure

also when i click forums to left, it shows for both, does it show both ffxi and ffxiv forums for u guys?

I'm not talking about seeing XI threads on the XIV side, I'm talking about topics from sections Everything Else.

XIV Pro seems extremely empty, and I think that's partly because XIAH has access to XI news / discussion and community topics. XIV Pro is only XIV news and discussion, and no one really discusses anything atm.

If it was suddenly enabled though, I see XIV relevant threads disappearing very quickly because there aren't enough people using the site to keep XIV threads up at the top.

XIVpro has the servers, jobs, section also. i can make that a suggestion for the everything else part to show on both.

Actually atm the pro side is flowing pretty good, it could just be the beta factor but as long as the game doesn't crash and burn again I don't see stuff getting buried beneath everything else threads anymore than XI does sometimes.

That said I have no idea if people are actually using the pro side or just posting from AH side.

Personally, I'd like to be able to see social topics on FFXIV, as well as the chat on that side.

EDIT: And yeah, the Pro side has actually been having activity, I keep a Pro tab open, I'm sure Aly knows that, because Aly stalks me, Aly wants this. :D

Now that FFXIV is pumping more, scragg will probably change a few things. i put the suggestion to see the everything else section viewable for both sides.

when will he do it? i dunno... he will have plenty on his plate with new lodestone and linking stuff

other bugs backed up in log and any new suggestions to improve.

also ppl gotta stop being lazy and just open a new tab like you kojo to see the ffxiv stuff. it really shouldnt be in both places...since the sites are seperate

yea he doesnt talk in admin forums of any things, cept one time few weeks ago. but that was it. its tough since we barely even get any response from scragg on stuff. so we kinda stay in the dark :(
