Yeahh my hair doesn't bleach well, last time my did my hair felt legit horrible for a full month before i finally conditioned the life back into it xD
Was it professionally done or did you do it yourself? If professionally, do you know the strength of the bleach they used? A weaker bleaching agent can be used which shouldn't damage the hair quite so much but it's really hard to tell.
Did it myself, and honestly no idea, it was at Jess's
._.
Was when i put blue and pink in my hair
Oh, right. The back pain too. Totally not my fault. Tooooooootally didn't decide carrying 60 lbs of steak over my shoulder 75642647678462706127 times last night was an awesome idea.
Feet hurt too, but standing and walking constantly during a 9.5 hour shifts at work with a half hour break kinda does that.
One thing I've discovered at work is that I'm awesome at stacking things that probably shouldn't be stacked and carrying them across the entire kitchen without dropping anything.
And that I can't not topple something that is meant to be stacked and stacked properly. Like I did with ~200 lbs of steak filled boxes last night. ._.

I feel that. I worked 11-10pm yesterday and only had a 5 minute cram-food-in-my-face break at like 3ish >.<

I [+] this because I feel your pain on the standing thing not because I enjoy your pain.

That's illegal. Like, federal law illegal. >_>
15 minute off the clock break every 7 hours is the absolute minimum allowed.

I work about 9 hours a day at my job without breaks. However, if and when I do take a break, my body tends to hurt more than it does if I didn't take a break. Maybe that's why they call it "Break" because it breaks my body if I take one.

Oh, I know. I just don't complain :|
That's silly. You can submit a complaint anonymously to some federal website and they'll never know. Besides that, working yourself into the ground like that is terrible for your health.
I'd check state law too. IIRC, employers are bound by whichever one has the best break times for the employees as their minimum.

Yeaaaa you probably used a pretty strong bleach then. >.< Stuff that most people buy over the counter like that is... just yea. lol ***will fry your hair, and rape your skin, in no time. XP
Well it's kind of like Ael said, after running around for so long, and you stop for a break, I feel more exhausted than I would have if i had just kept going.
And it's not like the break isnt available its just harshly frowned upon, and you'll piss your coworkers off quick by doing it. It's more of a sacrificial courtesy to others than it is being deprived, i guess.

I smell some "*** my man aint yo baby daddy" drama!
Our Chefs encourage us to get our breaks taken care of. Even if only because they don't want to get fired for getting the property sued. Bad for business and a bit of a hit to money already made.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
