Where Do You Get Your News?

I'm sure that story isn't surprising to anyone.

SO where do our ffxiah people get their news stories and information?

List a few sources.

Here are mine:

Talk Shows: Parker/Spitzer, Anderson Cooper 360, Colbert Report


Perhaps you can also briefly explain why you like your sources. I'll explain mine later if anyone wants, but I don't want a Tl;Dr

Inb4 TL;dr

BBC news both online and on TV, I don't read newspapers at all really.

/new/ on 4chan too. I like /new/ because avoid trolls you still get info fast, and it's a good website to browse in the morning.

BBC because it's British.

I have no idea what BBC is lol. I guess I didn't consider the international news companies. Do you have a link to any of their websites j/w ?

BBC is a good news source. They are not so biased so it is a great source for American news even though its British.

I don't really anymore.. The only place I really hear about current events is the news feed on the yahoo home page and what few stories are posted here..

I'm not really concerned with current events anymore though.. It's always the same ***.. Some mother or father did some unspeakable ***to their kid, some new bill in congress threatens your freedoms in one way or another and some celebrity did something incredibly stupid. Oh, and a suicide bomber/bomb went off near some building or section of the city somewhere over in the middle east and between 10 and 40 people were killed.

Really guys? You are going to rate down everyone else's choice of new sources? This isn't even a political discussion, it's a matter of taste.

I mainly just watch the local news but I stay up on global events via friends and family,
they'll mention something and then I'll search about it online.
So I guess the internet in general is my main source.
Yeah, I get so easily irritated that I can't watch that ***anymore.

Yeah news today... anyways Colbert Report. Cause at least he is sarcastic when he says complete BS. And is being entertaining on purpose. And often more factual than alot of news channels lol

MSNBC is worse than CNN XD at least i think so.

i mainly watch daily show for tv news, honestly its just so much less depressing than normal news channels, and you still get info. also i find random bits of info on the net, that if i'm interested in i'll check other sources to see if its true.

I actually listen to a lot of talk radio b/c mon-fri im driving constantly, I usually log 3k business miles a month on my truck. Music gets boring after a year or two on the road.

As long as you can separate the 5min worth of actual news from the 2 hours of opinion for each story, I guess that works.

I don't. The news is almost always depressing. I don't like to dwell on such things.
