Worth noting you are the minority as this is on average an 8 on MAL for both the anime and the manga, not that your opinion is not something you are welcome to just pointing out "most" people do like it.

But I too have an anime that I think was awful and is for some unexplainable reason an anime people like, From the New World (Shinsekai yori). Kinda funny cuz it is also an average 8 and I rated it a 3 XD so a good parallel for your rating of render.

BLAME!

Cyberpunk story. Extremelly visual and very subtle in the plot.

Either need to read it twice to fully grasp whats going on, or read while following other medias explaining the chapters (what I did).

But even being most of the time lost about whats going on is a charm per se.

I got this recommendation. So i went to check it out.

Unfortunelly its an ongoing series, what i normally dont read.

Starts out quite interesting, with some new concepts up to ch7. Then kinda becomes a standard isekai with a MC too much OP for his own good.

Anyway, not a bad read. I just didnt like how it turned.

RaW Hero

After watching that video and knowing that the author of Prison School had finished a new series, I had to check it out.

It was a fun read. It ended way way sooner than it should. Some plot holes and bad endings points that maybe this serie was axed, whats a shame. It had some promising content.

Just finished Astro Note. In many ways this should be an average show, but for some reason I really enjoyed it. Starting with 80s inspired op, it has good flow to it, something about it just works in the sense of entertainment. I can recommend.

Kasane
Genre: seinen, drama, psychological, tragedy, crime and punishment

Its a more mature story involving themes like traumas because ugliness, doppelganger, crime and punishmnent.

Its not for anyone, the story itself dont have anything upstream-like, but its well told and very well drawn, the art is very decent.

Overall, 7/10. It got me hooked up from start to end.

Some (many) parts were hard to see though

I hate that a crappy American company has so much power over the anime industry now. Crunchyroll are garbage, and they will 100% ruin the industry with their censorship demands.

The US/western market makes far too much money in the anime industry now, and that allows a US corporation to tell the anime industry how it should be.

Anime originally became so popular because it offered something unique, and was mostly free from the puritan censorship of the west. Not anymore, or at least not much longer.

Mahou Shoujo Site and Mahou Shoujo Site: Sept

This series has 2 parts due to change in serialization. Related or not, I feel like it changed in terms of style.

Part 1 was kinda a seinen disguised as shonen. With many gory aspects, mystery, heavy themes, but all told in an interesting pace, that made me hooked up to the chapter 50~60, when the mentioned change happened.

Then the series went full shonen, without many mysteries, less story and more fights. Personally I dont like this content so it was kinda hard to read. But I sticked to the end.

Mahou Shoujo Site Sept is a spin off that happened during the tranition, and later being merged to the main serie. It still carries the vibe of the first part and bring some explanations not told in the main serie, so its good to read only when youre in part 2, to avoid spoiling too much.

This series also seems related to Mahou Shoujo of the End, which I didnt read. I suppose it must be some sort of "Mahou Shoujo-verse" made up by the author.

The story is kinda contrieved in the end. Maybe they went a little too far in the attempt to make something new.

Gonna give it a solid 6/10 mostly because of the first part. The second one is trash imo

That doesnt make any sense I have read both of those, I do not see how they are related, `Mahou Shoujo of the End` English name is `Magical Girl Apocalypse` it is about an apocalypse brought about by magical girls which appear out of no where attacking the world, it is a cosmic horror manga. I enjoyed it but wouldn't say it was amazing 6 or 7 our of 10.

There was a chapter in Mahou Shoujo Site when some random dude and girl appeared. They looked at distance and said something I forgot and the chapter ended.

The translator note mentioned something regarding "The End". Then said the name Kurorogi Rei.

I just gave a little Google, and confirmed that person appeared in both stories.

Site ended with Aya's father telling something about her mother. But Aya dismissed it. I suppose the full context of that is in The End.

Just finished watching Promise Neverland Season 2, it was awful.
I had heard it was bad shortly after it came out so I held off watching it until I could get the manga and read that.

Whole manga was great loved every minute of it and Season 1 is shot for shot adaptation with great added bits to expand on some chapter covers pages.

Season 2 guts the story, It was wild to watch it after reading the manga, what was cut out and thrown in is absolute insane.

I recommend reading the manga then watching season 2 for the pure spectacle of it all.

In a far far away galaxy where humanity forgot how to make woman pants, so that they need to walk using oly their panties…

Space Adventure Cobra

I would have said thats a City Hunter-type of story, but Cobra predates City Hunter, so its more like City Hunter is a Cobra-like story.

But given its context is in the future, in an era with interplanetary travels, then Cobra has a lot more creative freedom to explore ficticious races, a new set of restraints than you cant actually apply in a less fictional work.

Also, Cobra is more raw in that it abuse the killing of side characters. Very few of them manages to survive to see the next day.

Majority of new arcs stars a new bulky woman as a love interest so the readers can never get tired of one of them.

The author is a degenerate as the amount of butts being pictured in a page if off charts.

I dont generally like such episodic type of story, but this one was interesting from beginning to the end (though, by some cruel joke of destiny, the very last chapter is not translated).

Gonna give it a 7/10.
