I read that, its going to be on my next December 25th card, I send to my family so they don't complain I am blowing them off to work on a stat holiday. The true meaning of CHRISTmas has been diluted by crass commercialism. Jesus IS the reason for the season. The various traditions aren't the point. The point is the birth of the Savior. My heart grieves for those who feel they must ridicule religions. I don't ridicule atheism, I pity it.

I actually agree with Emonaeone's opening sentence, from there on he just sounds like a religious dumbass though. Christmas is a really good excuse to spend time with your family, and if came around more than once a year I'd probably kill them, but going home and catching up with them all once a year is good.

If Christmas was all about the birth of Jesus Christ, we'd be celebrating Christmas in the Spring time seeing as that's when Christ was actually born.

I'm kind of interested. Maybe it has a happy ending and the constitution of these United States is upheld and instead of a nativity scene they post a copy of the Treaty of Tripoli in front of city hall.
