@Felgarr fyi you don't *have* to do this for rank 9 btw, but i'm sure all those titles help. I'm in the process of building GP myself in case they will help me get to 10 since i don't see those last two MT titles happening anytime soon :D

Has anyone tried the 'transferring augments' process for limbus equipment yet? Does it work as advertised or any oddities? The way I read it is that if you have an NQ, rank it up say 5 times and then trade it to a furnace with an unaugmented HQ of the same slot/attire then the HQ just gets those 5 augment ranks. Yay/nay?

Technically steps 1-5 need to be done before retirement. You can keep racing your bird after retirement. The one bird I made is still racing.

u need to get the 200k item the 150k item 100k item and the 70k item to get all 4 titles from each craft

That said, I feel like the translations were pretty much on point. It made sense the images with the text translated so I guess chatGPT is doing a good work with OCR+translation.

This night I continued using my chatGPT Pro for manga translation.

I was sending page per page but then I got hit by a message "slow down cowboy. You hit your media rate limit".

I knew I was being naive by thinking I could keep using it without a care. But hitting a 24h wall after just 10 pages is excessive.

I guess tomorrow I will need to change my strategy and merge multiple pages in a single file before sending. Because my wall was because of files uploaded and not size. So I suppose one PDF with 20 pages would allow at least doing one chapter per day.

I officially have the worst chocobo imaginable. I can't even win the first race where you have to come in 1st 2nd or 3rd out of 4 chocobos.

I really half-assed this chocobo raising. My chocobo is 75 days old, and is STR/END/DSC/RCP: A little below, A little below, Poor, Poor.

I gave the stables a new, warm chocobo egg. Do I check on him every day, like the monsters in Monster rearing? If yes, then why do the care plans even exist? I guess I have to feed it every day too right?

What's the sim say if you use another Moonlight Ring or Chirich+1 instead of Lehko's, the Alabaster Earring R30, and then for WS you slot in that sweet Ephramad's Ring :D?

Why double march with haste 2?

If you're talking about a standard melee set, unless you're looking to add DT in an off-slot, no it's not necessary to wear one. You should cap haste fine without the earring, and there's better TP earrings (JSE+1/2, Schere, Dedition, Telos, Cessance). You would likely use the earring in a -DT/MDB/Meva or some Seigan defensive set where you might lack haste from the waist slot or otherwise need DT. It's not a TP earring until you get the STP/Acc/Att augments.

Assuming accuracy isn't an issue or you don't need -DT, is there ever a time when the TVR 10% WSD ring and the Empanda 5% WSD ring are not BIS?

The only examples I can think of is maybe the Archon Ring (Dark Elemental MAB +5%) for Leaden Slaute / Sanguine Blade.

It's checking the most recent commit date, and comparing hashes on the Lua file itself, if it's an exact duplicate of the "original" addon, where I could verify the original author's repo (by comparing the addon author/copyright text to the github user), it's ignored. I realise this is not perfect but it's already caused a marked improvement of addons being shown from their original source.


If it's showing an addon from a "non-original" source, I either could not verify the original owner's repo, or the version on that repo is different enough from the original to be considered a new version.

I'm unsure what you mean by "nesting duplicates" because I'm already showing forks (versions of the addon with a difference in hash). Direct duplicates are being ignored.

As much as I'd love to just blacklist what I've mentally called "mega-repos", some of them contain original addons which would be skipped if I blacklist the whole repo, or in some cases some addons just.. would not be available on the directory.

I will continuing improving and iterating on the whole thing, but there's already been a considerable improvement in the quality and sources of addons in the directory.

Working towards the Aeonic horn atm with trying to get into regular runs. Also trying to find out what order works best - as you said, making use of the 1hrs + resets from COR(if possible) and where to path.

Interesting to know that it's mostly R0 ody gear. RDM is(mostly) /NIN doing Black Halos, BRD is Savage spamming, and the COR needs some gear work(my alt, replacing my COR with a DP and solid sets, as I'm our tank), but aside from that, we are R15 Nyame and working on getting others up.

Shark Bite is interesting - don't think I've ever heard that used. Then again, most discussions of Sortie with DNC is with Mpu, so...

As for WAR, wouldn't having 3 SBers cause it to wall faster? That's something we were all worried about, was WS walling as we go through fights.

We also kite E boss atm, straight tank A, C and G. We've not dipped our toes into B or D bosses yet, as we're still figuring our what will end up being the best for us. Appreciate all the feedback from everyone!

My group does 9 boss and our nyame is only r20 and most ody gear r0 (just lazy)

You don't need max gear for 8 boss farming, just competent sets and the proper support.

Aeonic horn required on bard, stage3+ prime horn with aria is a huge boost. Your rdm, brd and cor should be geared well enough to melee and savage blade/black halo. Buffs generally do the heavy lifting, 1hrs on the harder fights like aita/gartell (and doing one at the start and one at the end so you can 1hr on both of them)

Adhemar bonnet +1 is fine for victory smite but I wouldn't tp in it. The biggest dps improvement is probably just holding out until you can upgrade duty head, hands, and feet (and body for impetus down) and add them into your tp sets.

This is overkill for a standard 8-boss. I would say the Nyame Rank is less important per se than the player having a clue on how to gear in general. You could probably get by with R15~20 Nyame-B/Odyssey and deal enough damage to the bosses before they get bad. Having at least +2 Empy is probably a good idea, AF would probably need to be at least +3 (better +4) to not get squashed with the lower stats. If everyone is wearing proper magic evasion/mdb/-dt in their sets and isn't doing anything dumb like healing the bosses, standing in the wrong spot, or causing them to rage, most of them can be handled fairly straightforward. You're using a PLD in your group, so you could just as easily kite all of the bosses and wittle them down. Might take a bit longer, but the threat is probably nothing if you can manage it.

The ones that would give you the most trouble would be Aita and Gartell, specifically if you're not kiting them. Aita needs to be procced with the opposing element to his last TP move, or he will gain a stacking -DT effect. The longer it takes to remove, the less damage you do. If you have weaker gear, this obviously will affect you harsher than someone at R25~30. But if handled properly, I think a lower Nyame rank is fine if everyone knows what they're doing.
