Does Hvergelmir's aftermath affect spells or only auto-attack swings?

So if the Roaming NMs and the basement sector NMs only spawn 1 time per monthly cycle it I feel like it kind of sucks for higher population servers.
On Bahamut I imagine all 8 daily NMs will be killed within a couple hours of JP midnight which would mean we have 6 days to get Unique Data for an entire monthly cycle. Same for the basement sectors. These objectives get filled pretty fast on Bahamut. Omega was already being killed today according to my LS discord server so there goes the Apollyon basement in terms of Unique Data collection for the rest of the monthly cycle. Does this sound about right to anyone else or am I looking at this wrong?

Did Apollyon and Temenos NMs last night. Ended up with just over a bar of data after each area. Was one main alliance and just a few others participating. . . so basically there is a bar and change of Unique Data in there to be split among the participants. One very notable thing is you get no progress while dead which is unfortunate given the design choices of these NMs. The little 0 at the end of "Unique Data" flipped to 1. Took that data to a chest and indeed I was able to open a chest without the temporary items and had already opened 5 chests this week. The 1 at the end of my "Unique Data" bar flipped back to a 0. It's unclear if the Mannequin NMs will give data, but one preliminary report on Twitch of somebody doing 15% damage to one did not see a single pixel in their Unique Data bar but more information is needed.
What did you get from the chest? Was it the same reward as opening the chest after getting all of the temp items?

I think i remember someone saying we did 10-12m as an alliance last night (and got a full set of data). Posted this in the limbus thread. That was about 2.5 or so CN NMs' worth of health, give or take.

Anyone have an estimated parse of what the CN NM's have for HP?
I believe the fomor's have around 7 mil HP, but I'd have to double check it. This might also vary by job (ie: MNK would have more)

Yeah I'm going with the JP twitter post's expectations. It looks like you'll need to kill about 10 NMs (or deal enough damage on 10 NMs) to get enough Unique Data to open one chest.
I read the update notes to mean the progress bar at max was 10 chests. Who knows though
It probably is, because the points never reset, but it's not 10/wk. Just you get cumulative points so you can make progress towards extra boxes throughout the course of a VU month.

Laziest man alive: Anyone know the minimum distance to walk for chocobo digging? I know you [allegedly?] have to move after a successful dig to have another successful dig.
IIRC 3.5 yalms but I don't know why I think that. In practice, what it means is that you can lock into walk mode, auto-run, and as long as you don't get stuck you'll be able to dig more items.

Dyna-D campaign only applies to the instance, not the shared area, correct? Theres nothing mentioned in the campaigns page but I'm pretty sure I remember reading something like that? I can't recall them ever saying that, for what it's worth. Moreover, the double value from squadron enemies for +3 unlocks seems tailor made for the shared area.

We had similar numbers until we fixed our Impact timing.
First Impact we went early in the SC. 2nd late in the SC. Third early, 4th late. Fixed our issues of impact falling off.
On this note: Impact lasts 3 minutes (if unresisted). If you cast it in a macc set and it lands without any resist (I don't think it's a good idea to intentionally resist, since the resist could make it MUCH longer) then it will last for most of, but not the entirety, of your TR (which lasts 3.5 minutes).
Keeping this in mind, it's important to either:
Start the Impact very early so that it wears off (and can be recast) during/before the second SC
Cast the Impact in the middle of the SC (making sure that it doesn't MB) so that is lasts through the second SC
It's quite finnicky and we've had a LOT of issues with Impact wearing off in the middle of the second SC.
Of course this all applies the exact same way to the 3rd/4th SCs.

The only fixed an extra n in one of the new armor sets, so they probably should have used a singular there.
The concept of singular/plural functionally doesn't exist in Japanese, so that checks out.

That's insane honestly lol and it's really ugly. A lot of the official stuff is always overpriced because of licensing. It's funny how much better the third party stuff is.
