I've never done any other method so I can't compare to other setups, but I feel no urge to move away from MNK method. The biggest downside to MNK setup I feel is the Ampulla cost, but if you bring WHM as your 6th you can somewhat offset the cost by the fact that you wouldn't really need to bring medicines besides oils/powders.

What's the earliest you can start using Chocotrains on your bird? I'm going to start stockpiling them before my next egg and I wanted to know how many I should start with. Also, which do you guys find yourself using the most? I assume a few for STR and then a bunch for DSC and RCP?

Data might seem to indicate stuff dug up with Egg Helm do contribute to skillup, but that might be confirmation bias on my side.
To truly have a 100% confirmation of that someone with Egg Helm would need to dig with a character with zero wing skill. At low levels skillups are very frequent.
If you ever get a skillup message after digging up one of the Egg Helm items (Bird Egg, Colored Egg, Hard-boiled Egg, Soft-boiled Egg, and Sairui-Ran) that would be 100% confirmation that the additional items from Egg Helm do indeed contribute to potential skillups and that would make Egg Helm really nice to use while skilling up.
Considering that it's a small difference, it's like ~20digs per session of 200 successful digs (at least with my choco stats) so it's... a truly small difference. Every bit helps though?


One thing though, at least in today and yesterday's sessions (but maybe more) I noticed I never dug up those items that give you Conquest points based on your STR rating.
Is it because I have no Signet? Or because I'm in Konschtat Hightlands and you don't dig those "items" there and only in the initial zones?
Because I seem to recall I never had Signet to begin with and yet in East Sarutabaruta I was digging them up frequently.
If it's a matter of "zone" then that would imply that digging in one of those zones should grant faster skillups? I mean less time spent to reach the 200/day value.

If you farm cards from fomor, you end up low on reverberation (but not too low because it is T1), so you can use Delkfutt keys to patch the gap. The downsides of keys are:
1. Takes two characters
2. You can't use ionis
3. People may get mad at you for killing Porphyrion over and over until they realize they can click the ???

He's the fastest way to get spheres, but Reveration alone isn't going to make you a shield.

Can I get the TP gear the mnk was using in this? Would like to try this out with my group in the near future, and want to see how much more upgrades our mnk might need.

I've already mentioned 5-man 9 boss with the MNK setup being doable before, but thought I'd record and share a video of it in action. A bit messy in a few places, but a win is a win. Obviously it can be better coordinated/optimized for groups that don't bring a selfish tri-boxer like myself.

Those tools are so good to use that Ive decided my next project would be do a recap manga utility belt tool entirely using vibe code.

Well this is something substantial because in all gaming history they never increased the price over two times like this, years after release. There gotta be some kind of bubble thats gonna pop, thje way they are increasing prices like crazy on everything with no shame.

I'm not sure what testing, if any, has been done regarding applying TH with a move thay 1shots a mob from idle. I've always applied TH with a non killing move first, then killed them after that. Might be worth considering. For palborough, I like to stun/blind one mob, then use it to link all the others. It feels much faster than stopping every 2 seconds to cast. You can also link the other side by having the mobs jump through thr impassable gate.

I didn't do a lot of farming there, but it was a common place for me to do my 30 signet kills every month, which I could do in 1 pull to the bottom of the map. After that I typically just warped. Respawns suck, tbh. I commented this earlier but if you have an alt or an AFK friend, I highly recommend upper delkfutt: you get 6 keys every 5 minutes, no running around, th, luck, or BS. there are also thunder elementals frequently to restock your crystals. It gives reverberation and distortion

What is insane is the YouTube part of it.

I had to edit like 12h+ straight to get my 2 Plaything videos out, around 6 minutes long each, and they went very well for some underground and niche channel, raking 500 views each in this week.

But this 5 seconds AI slop, that maybe was created in like 5 minutes from a prompt, and apparently it is even unlisted on Youtube, got 500+ views in like 5 hours, and rising.

This means:

1) AI slop sells, and sells quite well.
2) someone is rolling the videos over and over somewhere
or
3) more than 500 people check this thread, even if just a handful actually post on it.

Most of those games were only available on pc 12-18 months later
