100%, they ban like demons on the official forums. It's almost impossible to not be banned if you post past a handful of times, only one person that I've seen has never been banned for some reason.

my theory is they are forced to moderate it, in addition to the xiv forums and they are mad at the extra work

stuff like traits I would assume is going to the equipment section, could see them adding generic stats like acc/eva etc later on down the road though, especially if they get some positive feedback on this path being a good one.

IMO this is actually the play. I'll probably do HP, INT, MND, AGI, and then hold points until I'm pushing a thousand.

Is there any sense that the new RSE +1 gear might get augments at some point (unsure if this was alluded to in the stream, didn't watch).

You have to open the addon menu in game to assign abilities.

+1 to Cap, and also the new RSE gets folks into Synergy with something other than a cosmetic piece. I got asked to make one for someone, saw the recipe and was like - do it yourself! :P

According to the npc who tells you your rank, 100 is the cap.

install the files from the orig folder to reset all changes, then install the mod (condensed just means the text on the nameplate, not icons)

ZipA has no menu icon (magic/mounts/abilities) changes, ZipB does.

The files from zipB in /280 and /324 have bigger menu icons, and so without the menu changes in /119/51.dat that make the menu windower bigger from B they squish together.

Install the orig files to reset.

I really made these far too complicated and with too much optional stuff, I'll prob delete most of it next time and have is more simple.

Not sure where the CHR hate comes from. Some might claim that trusts can't get charmed but mine actively work against me pretty much all of the time.

Since they took away the "Filled Memory Gem" KI which gave stat bonuses to all trusts... How do these Alter ego points compare to that old KI? I capped out HP but doesn't seem like much changed? Can anyone confirm how much better the points are compared to the older KI?

I do agree that is probably the most useful stat of the lot. Just sad it isn't double that.

Interesting. Well, they did say they wanted players to be able to power up trusts while doing regular activities. I wonder if they added primers anywhere besides htbf.

HP/VIT > MND/INT > DEX > STR/AGI > Hodor 1000 > MP/CHR

I'm very much open to adjusting order of VIT & mental stats.
See no point in upgrading MP or CHR, may as well just save for secondary stats instead if those even ever get added.

HP feels like the most useful. Not only just for pure survival, but max HP is a factor in enmity loss so the tanks can hold hate slightly better. HP alone doesn't seem likely to make too much difference, but hey, something's better than nothing and might help add up once we get the additional trust equipment.

I just got 3rd place in Novice Race I, but I still can't access II or III. Am I missing something or do I need to get 1st in them?

I don't see how 100 extra MP is ever going to make or break a trust. perma 0/50. 250 extra HP... ya probably not gonna help much either. 30/50 with starting items.

Does CHR actually help with anything aside from dancer cures? 0/50

Whatever you do first, I recommend you make a backup of your ROM folder as a precaution.

Secondly, its up to you how you want to do the dat swaps. There is a addon (XI Pivot) that helps you do this without modifying the files itself. You may want to search youtube on how to do this, several ppl have made videos on 'how to make your game look good' and it basically covers dat swapping.

Then there is the ol' copy/paste/override dat file approach.

I personally just replace and override and /done

how do i fix the condensed spells ability icons from being stacked on each other? is it the the 3rd one condensed 2? as i tried both they dont seem to sort it out.. i also lost the nice chat log window font the LoL style cant seem to get it back sadge

HP is 5 per level, MP is 2 per level, stats are 1 per level.

Are HP and MP increased by 10 per level each, and Attributes by 1 per level, similar to Merits?
