I have nothing against labelling for the Luddites.
My point is the current labelling isn't clear. Most people will be offended by 2d game art made with AI. If you use ChatGPT for some text then have to label AI use it might give the wrong impression that AI was used for imagery even if it was not.

Problem with an AI label is that AI is already and will be used for everything, even if not for direct 3D models or images, even just LLM for brainstorming, making lists of potential names, script, etc. so yeah, it is pointless as one label.
Different labels for "AI was used to write the script" "AI was used to make 2D images" and "AI was used to make models" would be more suitable.

Keeping it abstract and unknown motivates players to engage with all sorts of random content you otherwise wouldn't. If they outright say that a few pieces of content don't effect it, the people who might've been doing that content won't.
Brings back some of the mystery / group collaboration / problem-solving from the old era too. I kind of like that they kept it this way.
In addition to this, I like that they have a (probably unreachable) rank 10. It gives a reason for people to keep striving.
Avereith and I did a bunch of crazy stuff earlier in this thread and then SE revealed that rank 8 was the cap and we slowed down/stopped. It sure was fun though! What a blast actually playing the game and all the neglected content within |

I also wondered that before but I suppose many people did. When apex mobs were relevant maybe there was some combination of death equipment that could have been viable.
Although it's not Ilvl there is also https://www.ffxiah.com/item/18916/heimdalls-doom effectively allowing WAR DRK BLU to dual wield additional effect death weapons and WAR DRK tank with death spikes on top.
Wonder how quickly mobs would fall with a platemail PLD pulling. |

alluvion skirmishes did have a map option from the noetic ascensions but I never personally used it. so there probably is a way to ask the server to unlock it if you are nice enough :)
That might be what I'm remembering which after I lost it after doing it once felt like a huge waste of time.
Seems like there ought to be a way to get maps if the map works at all. I think someone told me minimap does work for these zones (I don't use that though) |

If you run out of quests and are still rank 9, with someone confirming a shield will get you rank 10, then consider a shield.
There are literally thousands of quests to complete and titles to get before even considering a shield just for one more quest completed and a title.

That is a fair complaint. The page makes no mention of registering, nor the title you get for doing it.
It is however the 7th time this has run, you should know.

If you want a top ten exclusive title you better be awake at jp midnight on the last day and register first.
Update the wiki, for christ's sake. I don't participate in vanabout, otherwise I would do it myself. |

Have 110 CC from years ago when used to farm spiders in tree for rainbow thread. Before ToAU killed the market.
Anyway thinking about making a crafting shield. Is CC one worth it or is there a better craft to try and get the shield on? Thanks.

The event period ended, so the registration period ended.
I can see why you would want the registration period to extend into the collection period, but that's not really how events work.

Given that we've got days left on the collection period, that's gotta be an oversight on their part. Someone can try and put in a bug report, but I've got no faith in them doing anything about it. |

Is there a way to get maps for some of the event instanced zones that say "no map" in the map menu (I'm thinking Delve and Incursion here, maybe skirmish, might be others, I have sortie and old dyna maps, I know oddy, new dyna, limbus are "unmapped" areas and the map menu just doesn't work)
A vaguely recall one event (don't remember which - Delve maybe) gave some arduous process to get a map during the event but it wasn't permanent, and wasted large amounts of time (i could be miss remembering though as this was 10+ years ago)

The moogle gives an option to register your points, then the option to register using your name or have it anon.
That being said, I dunno if you only have to do that initially just once to be on the tally or if you have to redo it at the end so it updates you from your previous pt total or not. I've never been in the running for a title, so never looked into it that much

I would assume it doesn't but this is easy to test due to how large of a delta the double DMG would have.
My assumption is no because soul eater just adds a flat amount of damage per hit which is added after pDif
I suspect that you can eyeball this fast.
Go hit something with lots of HP like a locus colibri to get a sense for your baseline with and without AM procs. Then hit soul eater and check again.
With massive HP pool on DRK it should be pretty obvious.
