On 12/9, 1 day before the update, I did see an issue where I would buy an item from the Curio Moogle, say a Reraiser, and the reply from the curio moogle would be: "You bought a tavnazian taco" ...but my inventory would still have the correct item, a Reraiser.

It was a transient problem then, that I think is most likely due to congestion/server load. This is just an educated guess, but I have suspected for a long time, that the underlying NPC API are global in scope (i.e. 1 'resilient' endpoint for all servers).

Any chance you could also add in the feature from AutoCOR that allows you to turn off <p1> to <p5> to be in range before auto rolling? That is super useful. Can set <p1> and <p2> as always off and use the party rearrange function to put healer and tank in those spots.

Mini update - hit 246/246 campaign ops - and if that does count for anything it is not enough to jump to rank 9 without medal of Altana.

Also unlocked 10 more species in monstrosity, 2 relic +3 KI's and a bunch more GP kis. Now A30 in digging and did a 10* hunt just in case lol. Got the Cor Ballista chevron this week so will get ballistager and hopefully extremely discerning next week. after that it will be a while until i can get anything new title-wise.

Have we seen a rank 9 without v25 clears? Also @ranoutofspace, do you have a relic weapon? they give the fanfare (same as portal charm :D) when you complete, maybe having one would mean something?

I noticed you mentioned Kishar is 5% duration in your enfeebling alternatives, but it's actually 10%.

They're gone on Ragnarok too. There were a group of characters that would run to the moogle, then to the nearby homepoint and vanish to _somewhere_ before reappearing and running back to the moogle. I wonder what kind of exploit they were using.

There were definitely a couple items that could be bought for X and be resold for X*1.3 (or so, I think), and the profit was postulated on zoning. Guess someone scripted a way to abuse it and they finally noticed.

Could also be a multiple step thing, like turning in ancient beastcoins or AMAN reclaimer or bayld trade.

My gut says it's something they overlooked adding the limbus items, but obviously that doesn't mean a whole lot. Doubt we'll know for sure unless SE says so(unlikely) or whoever found it feels like bragging.

There was definitely something - on Ragnarok for the past 3 days there was a level 4 WAR constantly going up to the Curio Moogle in Port Sandy, interacting with it, turning around, interacting with the HP crystal, disappearing (very briefly, only for 3 or 4 seconds), re-appearing and repeating over and over.

/sea wasn't picking them up being in any other zone so it could have just looked like they were interacting with the HP and just pos warping but I have no clue what would have been beneficial to do this with.

Surely the community would have known if something from the Moogle sold for even 1 gil more than you bought it for, right?

A minor correction, outpost warps are shared between nations now. You can switch to Sandy and get a free Ronfaure, then go to Bastok and get a free Gustaberg, then back to Windurst and you can still teleport to either. It was a change made some while ago, but all three are added together and never reset any more.

I too remember the rarity of a nation taking over the starter region and getting that outpost back in the day, heh. But thankfully unnecessary any more. As soon as you switch you will be able to still use any warps from your prior nation(s) you've done before.

It's more of a donkey kong progression. Long nearly horizontal stretches followed by short vertical jumps that invalidate most of the previous stretch.

I've unfortunately been busy and haven't watched the full stream, but I always like to double-check supposed mistranslations. Random redditors often have mistranslations/mistakes, so the suspicion is warranted.

First, here is the transcription of the exchange with the relevant bits highlighted (the screen doesn't show the speakers and I forgot the other dude's name, so I'm just going with A-san for the guy speaking to Fujito).

(at this point they all kind of laugh and overlap with interjections at the probing question)

(literally he says "Maybe Dark Matter will come" but in this context it means appear/be present)

So in this case it isn't a mistranslation, Fujito jokingly suggested adding "Dark Matter" after saying "well, there are two types of matter [in the new Limbus]." You can hear him say ダークマター (Daak Mataa) at 22:26 of the stream.

But at the end of the day Fujito was being coy. As you suggested, I'd expect to see the other matter as a login point reward eventually.

Also, after skimming the thread people seem to be confused about the DT-35% and DT-18% slide (around 1:33:48). This is just a formatting issue due to the slide's size constraints, no one was saying you need DT-53%.

They were just showing ways to reach DT-50%. You'd need DT-18% from other sources if you only have Empyrean +2 since the full set gives DT-32%, or DT-15% if you have Empyrean +3 since the full set gives DT-35%.

The game mode for this has scratched an itch that I didn't know I had. Also just beat Tower 1 Final fight, and it also took me around 20 times.

I'm so impressed with how the game mode is paced. It's actually difficult without being massively punishing. I'm swapping gear around to optimise for certain fights.

Are some of the same limitations present here? For fodder I'm rocking a lot of Haste, should I be capping that at 26%?

Also fun that it's making me consider some of the old knowledge I had. Haste seems less important when WS are 200 TP. I'm maximising Skill chain damage to great effect.

I also just got a sword with Spontaneity which is making me think a lot about when I cast things.
