Returning player from 10 years ago and only have a geared war looking for a sortie team. Have cleared 8boss with pugs before.

Aeonic R15 crushes the other options by far at 1k. Judgment scales too well to not have the +500 TP bonus outweigh other options. In practice, if leveraging a proper Occult Acumen set, you're more likely to WS in the 1500-1800 range (SAM roll adds a significant amount). The higher in TP, the closer it gets, Prime becoming better after the 2k mark or so.

Big news today is Netflix is buying Warner Bros and HBO Max. I'm honestly glad, there are way too many paid streaming services. Netflix has always been king, and this should help everyone. The best news for this is the Nemesis system is now in Netflix control

THF vs DNC in same party with same buffs / debuffs, THF will do more damage. Problem, again, is that you're limited to 6 slots. Why bring THF when you can bring WAR (Warcry for other DDs in PT), DRG (Angon), DNC (haste samba, steps), etc. The straight damage you lose from DNC instead of THF, you more than gain from having haste samba and / or steps...
I hope beyond hope, that they revisit job balancing. They acknowledged it was up there on the survey in their follow-up to it, so maybe I'll get my wish on the 30th anniversary.

Art reflects culture. It's a strange choice, but it's hardly enough to assume the game is ruined. Now, if the entire game is full of references intended for millenial man-children.. then yea, it's not great. I love Metroid; I'll suspend skepticism until there's evidence it's a game-wide issue.

I use the following specifically for Aminon. At ML50 I don't have any WS acc issues, but might need to sneak some more accuracy in if lower in ML (prob change the Ishvara earring for a Cessance / Dignitary for example, and if still need more, Null Loop for neck slot) -

In the few cases where I WS at 1k, I've eyeballed somewhere in the high 30s. But I rarely WS at 1k due to Occult acumen. Normally WSing around the 1800+ mark, like in the 50s? I can take a look and save scoreboard next time I run on GEO. |

Besides tagging for Treasure Hunter with Aeolian Edge or Gandring, you don't even proc TH in Omen Swarts. Maybe you do it for Ou on extra drop slot/hands armor. But I'm still not sure it works on bodies or accessories based on how Thorny has described in on the past. Even in dynamis, you just kill and let stuff fall. You might intentionally proc Volte bosses like I said, but that's it. Cloud Of Darkness HTBF? Idk Procing TH doesn't feel worth it anymore.

Yeah I've stated many times, and Nynja's likely correct that THF is kept "weaker" intentionally by SE because of Treasure Hunter. They're still stuck in 2010s era. And I've stated in several other posts, almost every THF job ability has the absolute worst recast times and the least useful modern game application. It's not just a couple, they're ALL bad (minutes SATA which still has a long timer). That's not by accident. I still remember an era before Nyame when THF was absolutely busted on wave3 bosses. That style of fight is no longer a thing

This is incorrect because it is missing the prime. Not that you would judgment with it.
Also, won't say doht go for bigger numbers on judgment but unless you have the worst dnc in the world in your group, idris is more then you will ever need for judegment on aminon. In most y groups the geo could just cast bubbles and aspb tp and all will be well. |

-SA / TA reduced to 30s base
-TA transfers 20% of thfs current hate along with the hate provided via dmg
-Accomplice reduced to 3m recast(so 1/3 for collab/accomp) if it could target alliance members that would be great.
-Hide always works and is 3m recast
-Give the job some level of subtle blow
Whether hate control is relevant these days or not, THFs usually just not great at it to begin with, job can steal hate a good deal but it has nowhere to place it natively if it could more easily dump or transfer it'd atleast have a fairly unique niche

THF damage is very high due to TP gain and solid WS damage. The biggest issue is that it doesn't really offer very much outside of just that. Enmity management isn't really useful nowadays. THF's other JAs outside of SA/TA are very underwhelming, and sometimes even those JAs get scuffed from poor positioning.
We're limited to just 6 people in a party. Typically find room for between 1-3 DD. While THF is plenty strong, it just doesn't offer much else other than damage. It hardly boosts PT members performance, if at all, and the job itself requires a bit of help to reach that damage potential (no native source of attack or defense down - don't @ me with acid bolts) |
