Notable that it took like 2 weaponskills to kill a mob
Kill speed / time to complete the floor objective was similar to the 12 man alliance run at 135

The alliance speed balances out differently because of travel methods though I think with 119 you can pull as much as you want as long as aoe sleep can go off without locking you

My thoughts are how much can I increase the level
When it's just me and myself
as I don't really care about points just chests
But there's gotta be a sweet spot
Looks like the ws sweet spot is ~50k+
The "magic" comes from the skillchain damage for sure


I'll need a plan for when I can't line up alliance runs
if I am gonna do 5+ chests per week

Most jobs that can beat the top floor can beat E
The rest of the basement not so much

The most important thing for E is an effective means of poisona and the protective item from the mini boss which is a challenge to do solo without the right trust setup for both

Mini boss is damage from behind for the chest

Also remember no water on a & e
No reverb, distortion, darkness

Oh yeah it's the standard DWIII (25%) trait, so need ~11 more DW to floor delay with capped magic haste. Went with the usual "stick 10 DW on a cape and call it a day" method. My glass 100% cannon set uses the Adhemar +1 body, Suppanomi and either DA or STP +10 cape.

It's just a thing they have to do. If you report a bug and you say you're on windows 10 they can just ignore it. They would anyway, but they have a "valid" excuse by saying we dropped support.

No specific goal at the moment, was just purely curious about the strats used in the videos. I find it very cool to know that a WAR can zerg through it in 5m against what I thought was a heavily magic-oriented boss, and how the other jobs fare, etc.

I won't try to shadow them since I mostly play RDM and probably won't gear up those jobs, though since you asked; at the moment I get around 7-8k muffins doing A, top-floor NMs and objectives and basement 2 blitzers but I do plan on attempting E once. Haven't tried C at all yet but maybe I should.

The WAR doesn't show his equipment in the video so it's hard to tell what he wears but he's using empy great axe and ukkon's fury for the most part of the fight, judging by the insane damage he pushes he's probably wearing BiS Ukko's fury equipment from the WAR guide. He's probably also ML 30-50.
He uses his great axe break WSs for def reduction, summoned qualtada for buffs before he entered dhartok boss arena and straves at max distance around dhartok in a attempt to stack miasma clouds on the side to avoid losing much time repositioning. Despite the fast clear time I didn't catch him using mighty strikes vs dhartok but I might have missed it.

I find it amusing they added a warning about end of support for Windows 10, when they are never going to do any low level coding to change XI at all and so it's utterly irrelevant.

I'm still 6 boxing on my 10 year old pc with windows 7, nothing they do is going to make 11 not play on your PC with an older OS. If anything at all, windows or Ashita may make changes that make them not work, but Square Enix won't do anything that causes issues with an old OS.

If anything the game works better with old operating systems, cause they never update the core game and it was and still is made for those operating systems.

Um if your plan is an enspell build its pretty weak for that. +30 enspell assuming like other weapons it only applies to the weapon its self is much weaker than Pukulatmuj +1 which is +11 and +150% or Levante Dagger with wind affinity which boosts both hands while being a nice low delay dagger.

Anyways this is a thread about prime sword for blu not a weapon which is only in dats for rdm.

This sounds like a bug. What version are you running? I attempted to fix a similar issue for the September 06a version, so you may need to update if you haven't.

If you are up to date, then what steps are you taking when this occurs? Are you able to summarize the relevant settings and gear selections so I can try to reproduce the issue?

Can I get some short summaries of what goes on in those solo videos? Nothing too long but just e.g. 'WAR is geared with X and Y and just activates Z and spams N', etc.

Super interested in knowing what goes on in these but just don't know japanese to tell what actions they're using. I could make out a little bit of what's going on from the comments on this thread, but yeah would really appreciate it thanks!

Wrong swordmage, and i think enspell dmg on weapons only applies to the hand its on so you'd be better off with with augmented dersel or a puku+1 if enspell dmg is the priority

Any good TP sets using Crocea Mors in a DW setup with the new archduke sword offhand? I know it doesn’t release until Friday, but just wondering if anyone has prepared anything for it yet?
