It probably isn't difficult, but it still requires that you position your character(or your tank/trusts) properly if you want to rely on AT to select your intended next target.


Ideally your tank is the only one facing the mobs at range. You are on the other side of the target facing your tank, with your back turned to the ranged mobs because you don't want to get block/parry/counter/conal/ect so you wouldn't target them anyway. For the situations where you don't have a choice, you do have the awareness to position yourself that it's not hard to switch to the correct target from there.


Sure it's annoying, but the number of people we have assigned to work on this game doesn't actually meet the standard of being called a 'team'. I think the time is better spent elsewhere.

Tell me more or DM me. I'm curious what you chose for your storage setup. (Synology or some OpenNAS home build? Hardware vs Software RAID? Which disks/SSDs did you use? I could ask about 50 questions on this topic but my home lab is outdated).

Defaulting AT to 'off' would be a better use of time than trying to fix it. At least, I haven't heard any ideas on how to fix it that aren't essentially a sidegrade.

Playing FFT again on ps5 and thought I would be more excited. But really its the same game as always with barely updated visuals, the hardmode seems to literally just be them adding more damage, annoyingly, to mages and ranged characters. Then they added that horrid and tired lame brit accent to every single character. Just to remove the additional jobs and content... lame honestly, and it would have been nice to do online stuff now that its advanced a lot more since psp days. Guess they fooled me into rebuying the same game. Two more days to Digimon story

You should be fine. You can make it easier on yourself with a few things. Prebuff verve or have A SIRD Dream Flower set. Hippomenes Socks for flee proc in idle set. Can diamondhide beforehand for extra defense. Cocoon+Ice Spikes or Reactor Cool. Occultation. Phalanx as mentioned. Pull two packs, sleep if you need to, or subduction to create space between you and the mob. Rebuff. Pull more. Scouring Spate if you need additional defense vs your targets. Then begin your rotation (Entomb, Spectral Floe, Tenebral Crush etc). Can add more packs as you get more comfortable.
