Sorry for the necro bump, but I too was looking around to see where I can replace my mouse cursor with no luck.

I did what Dane suggested, deleted the files but that did nothing.

Any one know how I can make this tiny cursor larger or replaceable?

You have proposed this idea already in multiple threads and it's always been responded to you that this would make things worse, because the population that plays vanilla is actually pretty high still, so such an addon would just split the playerbase:
- use windower? this addon is now mandatory or you're forever left out
- not use windower? you're effectively ghetto'd into playing with other vanilla players because all non natties are using this thing to group up and there's really few people left which don't use it

This thread got me to go look at the Augment category on bgwiki which made me remember that those mini-expansions (ACP/MKD/ASA) had random augments on armor via KI you'd trade to a chest in the Tenshodo.

I recall there were some outliers at the time (iirc, I got a real lucky earring with macc/enfeeb skill/mnd) but I don't think there's any comprehensive list and I *think* you can re-acquire those KIs every conquest update?

Anyway, if y'all are looking at shitty old augment systems, don't forget about the mini-expansions.

I used to do ACE on Sam a long time agooo with my pocket whm which practically took me the whole run lol, haven't really tried again since I started 4 boxing. I think i might give it a try on War just for funsies with trusts. What's a good nuking trust for magic kill, I never use them.

Kikoku's good, but NAGI is what I've been using and loving! Get that Mythic AM3 rolling, use some of NIN's plentiful crit gear (and Innin), get those auras off.

For the small fries, I just TP on first one in a heavy crit set. Aura will go down, once it does I fire off a 3000tp Blade: Kamu for Mythic AM3 and then the following mobs go even faster with the same auto-attack crit approach. For mega boss, Mythic AM means I can rapid-fire self-SC light (Kamu-Shun) or darkness (Hi-Hi). Or with a partner DD, you've got options on katana.

I've been offhanding Yagyu Darkblade and giving my party members shadows. Another helpful use of NIN here.

To that end I wonder if any testing was done with magic

For breaking the aura on adds there are two methods: crits and scs.
For the latter, is a single sc enough? Or do you have to repeat the sc until the aura breaks?

I'm curious to see any info/testing on the new Archduke's Sword. I'm sure it's still way behind most serious options, but the different wording ""En" Spell Damage" makes it sound like it's a different effect from the typical "Sword enhancement spell damage." My first instinct was that it was just worded that way to include Enlight, but Brilliance also uses the "Sword enhancement spell" wording for duration.

This happened. It resulted in a bug where you could ride mounts in town. This caused all sorts of issues. It was also very hilarious!

Using addons to find friends to group with is a TOS violation.

I found out it's technically possible to solo Aita (H) on SCH too. Granted it's like a 10-15 minute fight with helix and not worth adding to a solo run outside of bragging rights. But It's possible.
I gave it a couple of attempts and took it to 43% before I messed up and healed him then died to the 3rd Vivisection. The idea is to spam his weak element nukes enough to drop his wings and if you do it you will survive Vivisection (That's how I survived the first 2 prior). While doing that a helix is ticking him down. Not a difficult fight, just tedious. Not really worth doing.


I also hear a JP Samurai is working on soloing Gartell. So far he has soloed ABCD EG and is working on F. Granted not all in the same run, but you get the point. If you're curious and wanna dig into his work his Twitter/X account is @Higeburo_ff11

He also provides valuable info and testing to certain things that are often missed within the ffxi playerbase.

It would be great if something like guild work was still being worked on

I am gonna be more inclined to join up with some random guy with an alt than some random doing limbus solo because that's also a weird convo that can be avoided by oh hey you use this addon and it already tells me you are looking for people to do stuff with

I too live in Europe and in the times I can play (between 19h and 23h30, give or take), there's plenty of NA, middle east, and even a few JPs around already. They might be sitting in mog house depressed that nobody else is online just like you, go out and do some shouts, you might find an EU linkshell eventually, especially on Asura.

I mean... it's not too hard to figure out, you know? Obviously you kill alot faster with the biggest and the most buffs. And maybe debuffs. Why would killing a few more matter at that point.
And yeah... I can do higher and even the highgest levels solo, still lv 119 is the fastest (by alot).
But the flag besides my name isnt some imaginary country like cananada in the same timezones as the part of the continent (on wich cananada might be on or not) with a very high population on the Server.
It means as long as I have a job, I only can play while 95% (guess) of the Server population doesnt. Almost the only thing I get to see is RMT shouts.
Yes, this is my problem. And no half baked braging fixes it.
My last friend in ffxi quit in 2016. The game isnt equal to everyone.

I've done one this week, saw a shout last night for another, and physically started to gag at the thought of joining. Decided sleep was way more fun than another round of that.
