I have no data to back this up, but also feel the augment draws have gotten worse since they became permanent. I have been pulling for a month and have seen only one Phalanx +3, let alone 4 or 5.

I got one Phalanx +5 Herc piece in July two weeks after the update. Aside from that I have not seen anything over a single +3, across 5 characters. It definitely seems like S-E made the rates for the most desirable stats worse once.

I believe this. It should be borderline illegal to do this in a video game (especially since SE's goal here is to extract a few extra months of $12.95 from players). God forbid, they add an extra augment, or increase an augment maximum by 1. In the real world, you have a carrot/stick metaphor. But with FFXI/SE, the carrot is mostly rotten by the time you get it, but the stick sometimes gets shorter. So, yay?

Dang, I got some pretty good musics from a old radio show.

Those musicians used to grab some souls music and mix into house music.

There are pretty amazing songs made this way, but also extremelly hard to find them. Because they are not well known, because they are mixed together in a single show so there are no references, and the music itself is pretty hard for my non-native english ears to recognize the entire song.

But I really wanted to download this single that is on my mind

Company I used to work for started a profit sharing program. I hadn't even passed probationary period and still got $1200. The funny thing was they said it's based on time with the company yadda yadda and encouraged people to share how much they got, as opposed to the "No discussing wages, that's a no no!!" *finger wag*
One of the guys had been there 5 years and got just under 6k. He was like "This will go to my house fund. How do people save up enough to get houses for $350,000+ anyway?" I was like "Uhhhh...." and explained mortgages. I was curious and had to ask "Totally none of my business, so feel free to tell me to piss off, but how much do you actually have saved up then?" "Oh, it's no big deal. But I have just over 62 thousand in the bank and can deposit this after work. It just felt like nothing when I thought I had to save 350k to buy a house."

People who can burn 100k on a stock that tanks and just go "yolo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" most likely are not working for 80k CAD/yr in a small software company

Finished Sandman today, a great final season. Too bad about Neil Gaiman, this series is never going to get adapted again.

There are people that put down 50k to reserve a tesla roadster 8 years ago, and keep getting promised each year "its coming" with no dates in sight

For some people spending 100k on a stock that tanks is no biggie.

Always levels.

I've often bypassed IT just to get things done cause of their.. colourful way of doing things.

Hell I threw away a gen1 Ipad 10 years ago that I had lying around from work that no one chased me about and I left the company.

Pretty sure that auto load comes from starting a second windower session too fast, using the same profile

Is curr an alias for some addon?
Can you have the name of a script also be an alias?

Curr question was answered above. It's called Currencies. Curr is the shorthand version. But I've tested the file labelling is *** currcheck, curr1, curr2, curr3, etc. It doesn't matter what the name of the file is called. I've ran one called test.txt that's literally just showfps for Windower -- it crashes the client.

I boot up the machine. I load Windower and log in. I wait 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes -- irrelevant on time.

This is a new Windows 11 install, a new FFXI install, a new Windower install. This is running one single Windower instance. Running any script immediately hard crashes the client.

`System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'D:\Mods\Windower4\scripts\autoload\autoload.txt' because it is being used by another process.`

That is a permissions error. Opened elsewhere, exactly as I said. Since you do this for a living you probably don't need more help than that.

Except the file in question has zero to do with what the topic is about. I can confirm both the Windower autoload.txt isn't open in any files both in Task Manager and in Computer Management, and furthermore I'm not even trying to do anything WITH that file.

If it's a permissions issue with an open file, that isn't open at all in the system, and I'm not even running a command for that file in particular, how does that factor in?

Furthermore, this is a fresh Windows 11 installation (USB drive, wiped and deleted all previous partitions), and a fresh Windower installation and setup.

If it's doing this outside of the box when Windower's basically a click > next > done install, then how is it a permissions issue with an open file?

If it does this after a fresh reboot, launching Windower and it does this immediately upon first launch, then how is it a permissions issue with an open file? Is the latest deployment of Windower so *** up NO ONE can run scripts? I highly doubt it otherwise it'd be a widespread issue.

If you're going to try to help, than actually do so. Otherwise *** off because all your response seems like is a kid jumping up "OH BUT IT SAYS HERE IT'S THIS SO YOU'RE WRONG" is pathetic.

I may do this for a living, but that doesn't mean I'm a *** deity. I put that there before when I know there's nothing open, or that it's not NTFS permission, I mean I've already checked for that as I would with a client.

I'm asking for anything to check outside of the obvious as I've already checked those. I purposely went through this on a second machine as I noticed this on my Windows 10 box and I couldn't figure it out there. I figured since it was a 5 year installation on the machine it might have been something in the user profile NTUSER.dat file, and as I was setting up the new machine I figured I'd test it there as well.

Yeah, it really depends on KI. Can't do procs if you don't know what the proc is.

When I finally gave in last time and went to farm seals I used brd/blm. Tier1 /blm spells make procs easy, and brd spells cover the rest.

Drop rates with that and th2 or th4 (th4 set after proc) were good.

But a new person having both brd levelled, KI for procs, and a TH4 set.. yeah, right.

I dont get the logic of some people.

An employee did a laptop repair through Lenovo for their device without notifying IT (me). They had to pay out of pocket since it was water damage to the screen, not covered by warranty, and didnt run that by finance either. It was a $1500 repair.

This happened in FEBRUARY, and theyre asking for reimbursement today.
