Not directly related to this SS, but I've seen skillups on a level 66 subcraft from the new armor, so it seems like the subcraft levels are (at least) 56.
It wasn't you that said it might be 54 cuz it skilled up? Or was that someone else?
Yup that was me, earlier in this thread:

Note: "at least". Turns out now, they're "at least" 56.

Ya im not complaining. When they did the change one of my thoughts was maybe we get empy drops again now that we can't game the system. The surprise is they lowered the cost so we get even more than we did before while being far less anoying.

And they nerfed the getting 500 on first log in so no more deleting mules after getting item to get extra points, just nice easy log in every day profit.

I just found out about the upcoming Abyssea item login point campaign and was wondering if the harp is still worth chasing in 2026 or if there's something crazier in the game by this point.

I guess I'm going to throw my credit card down in attack mode this month with my army of alts, since Abyssea drops are too good to turn down.

So apparently the whole stranger things was a bust, the writers really are just that terrible. What a shame, it could have been so much better.
Then I see a recommended video, and this gem of a comment. I want to reply so badly but somehow it forces me to be a subscriber to comment??? Since when did y outube start doing that.

I really like the campaign info on the site.
Currently it says " Login Campaign
No login campaign currently active. "
However from here: http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/campaign/login/login150.html
it shows:
[Campaign start] Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. (PST)
[obtainable end] Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. (PST)
[exchangeable end] Monday, January 12, 2026, at 6:59 a.m. (PST)
Might be nice to have a countdown for the exchange end, bonus if the last 72, 48, 24 hrs the color goes yellow > orange > red. Due to sleepiness and multiple chars and busy schedules and time zones and what not, I've derped it a couple times.
Likewise a countdown to spend ambu points before update would be neat.
Great site regardless so thank you.

Wouldn't it be neat if they brought those back for JSE and the KI also gave you some kind of low-grade, always-active, cheer-like effect when you were on that job? Clean up your inv and get buffed doing it? Cause the math nerds to have something new to argue about? Sign me up!
Could give folks a reason to re-do them and keep +1, +2, +3 sets in storage while keeping the important +4 pieces out for macros.
Or hell, doesn't have to be based on a whole set. Call it "job equipment mastery" and for each piece of JSE stored, you gain a level of buff stored on a KI. Lots of creative ways to solve this issue.
This is a *wonderful* idea. Even something minor like, dunno, 2% permanent Double Attack boost by having 5/5 war af stored, 2% permanent Crit Rate boost by having war 5/5 relic stored, 1% change at double melee damage by having 5/5 empy war stored, would make this incredibly nice. Also a lot of money, which would make everyone complain :-P

Yeah, would probably have to limit it to mono job JSE or people would be augmenting multiple sets of Nyame.
Alternatively, could limit it to existing storable JSE only, where you load gear into it like a storage slip but those items remain usable like a wardrobe. There's no issue with a player having multiples of those items.
That would be less useful since you couldn't stick ambu capes, most REMA(anything R15 should be storable, dammit), or things like Divergence Augment gear in, but it would still be a massive inventory improvement over what we have now.
|
|
 |
|
|
You could solve it in two ways:
1. Only let JSE gear be placed in it.
2. Treat it as a normal inventory for the purpose of Rare, so rare gear can only exist in one of your inventories (including JSE wardrobes.)
2 is better value for players, but more confusing to use for the uninitiated. I would probably go with option 1. It saves maybe 15 slots per job, but there is no longer as much of a penalty for playing a lot of different jobs.

Better yet, replace wardrobe 1 with job specific wardrobes.
22 storages worth of space, but the game only has to load ONE, for whatever job you're currently on. Stick your all jobs or shared gear in 2-8. When you have rare tagged gear in any of your inventory and another in say, your delivery box, moogle slip, or an event storage npc, you can't pull the gear off those.
In this case, if you had rare tagged jse in this theoretical job storage while on another job and got a second copy in your inventory, I assume the game would simply stop you from being able to change to that job until you dropped the second piece of rare tagged gear?

Random one I just thought of - have you unlocked/killed the Stage 4 Ixion NM in MMM voucher 09?
https://www.bg-wiki.com/ffxi/Shadhavar
It doesn't give a title, and progress is stored on your MMM Members card so might not count, but I have done it so you never know!
PS. I got Ballistager and Extremely Discerning, which puts me at 27 missing titles per Kaytes addon:
14 Guild point titles
5 Mog Garden
3 Master Trials
2 MMM
1 Fishing
1 Brown Mage
1 Consort candidate (Male character)
Medal of Altana still needed for me to hit 9. When I get close to any of these or finishing shield I will give up my medal again to test the tipping point.
Was extremely discerning 100 completions, or was it an arbitrary requirement like some have hinted?
I'm guessing you already have the ballista chevrons as well

I'll do one better. Just change the order that inventories load in so you don't always load Safe 1 (inaccessible) before Wardrobe 1 in every zone.

When it is loaded in windower, and a unity message comes through, does it lag spike the game for anybody else? I would love to keep it running, but when my unity leader says anything pertaining to DI. Laaaag.

let me use these accumulated points to buy temp items so I can skip floors?
This is an even better idea. Make a new form of currency obtained from doing alternate Limbus tasks like killing NMs that never expire. You can use the currency to buy the floor KIs from the one Operators instead of clearing the floors. That way you can do partial wing clears and open boxes through a combination of killing + buying KIs.

So if you dont get to participate in the new version, you dont progress ANY slower than you currently do; you can only progress more quickly if you do. How is that a punishment compared to current state?
Because people's view of being "slower" means they aren't able to do it "As fast as someone else", and thus "punished". Classic FOMO rage
