So the PUP strat works fine for the mimic?

If there were other diggers in done (doing Vanabutt probably) the easy zones were probably just all dug up! Faint memories of digging against RMT in Altepa, good times. I forget how long it takes to refresh items, good luck buddy
IIRC they changed this a while back, but I could be completely insane. More specifically, we're not actually sure. The June 2016 version update made it so you didn't have per-zone personal fatigue anymore:
Quote:
Chocobo digging has undergone the following adjustments.
•The limitations on number of items found per area have been abolished.
And BG Wiki THINKS this is a removal of the overall items-per-zone-dug-out thing:
Quote:
Historically, zones were able to be dug clean by multiple players and few to no items would be left until replaced at a certain moon phase. This was removed in the June 7th 2016 update. Thus there is no longer a universal item limit per zone, only a daily personal fatigue limit similar to fishing.
but afaik nobody has ever proven this, it's just incredibly likely... but it never would have come up before this Vana'bout if it is in fact still a thing.

So yes, zone, but also, who knows? Not me!

You only miss it if you aren't logged in.

Won't argue that it is indeed, shitty though

Ya cause I need to sleep lol. Not gonna be logged in and up my electricity bill (that keeps rising cause of crap) when not using my computer. Definitely shitty of SE.

thanks for the advice ill do that :)
By Elemmire on 2026-03-25 13:19:29
How did I miss the first set? did they release it before the day reset or something? :| when I was asleep?

Also, which comet one is easiest to solo? hmm. I'll have to check earlier in thread.

Seems easier to stack some minne on the geo and let them lead the way and gather/agrod the mobs then if you want easy luopon tagging

You're fundamentally misunderstanding the difference between tagging geomancy and geomancy being applied on initial aggro. What Wotasu was testing/confirming was that initial aggro did proc geomancy, but once aggro is lost, geomancy effects are lost because you are no longer on the monster's aggro/hate list. You need to actively be on a monster's hate list for Geomancy to take any effect.

Let's say you aggro 5 mobs and have Indi-Paralyze on yourself as GEO. All mobs have paralyze aura. Now a PLD uses Banishga. None of the mobs can ever proc "Paralyze" because initial aggro is lost. If the PLD somehow warped or died, none of the mobs would run back to the GEO (unless he either acted on the PLD or any of the mobs). If you tagged Geomancy on mobs and then died, raised and cast an indi-bubble without performing a hostile action, that bubble would also be ineffective because you have not established any hate on the monster. It's the same as it's always been.

The exception to this might be ambuscade, because all mobs in there have zone-wide hate and any action by anybody registers hate on everything.
bummer thats how I thought it was working.

Thanks for this, wasn't really seeing this anywhere. I was excited about the smart and elegant design that kept me out of Dynamis. Welp Dynamis here I come, at least I only need one core.
By Maurauc on 2026-03-25 12:47:07
Trade the chip and an infinity core - the core won't be used up, but the chip will. The elemental seems to have around a 50% drop rate on another core, or 1/2 clusters.

can be traded to a non-matching apparatus to get... an elemental that drops an infinity core. Demonstrating the alternate way to get infinity cores that requires no Dynamis competition with any other people, even if you're on Asura. So, actually kind of a smart and elegant design.

Whenever I trade a Green Chip (it takes Red Chips) in Dangruf Wadi it just says "The device is not working." You're saying it should spawn an elemental that drops an infinity core?
By detlef on 2026-03-25 12:20:07
If you have a chocobo mount, go to an [S] zone. If you don't, try something like Altepa or Yhoator with a rental chocobo. If you're still having bad luck, zone into an adjacent zone like West Altepa or Yuhtunga.

I'm not sure it's been extensively tested, but I believe the community "knowledge" about Aminon HM is that it's the exact same fight, but with -25% DT.

Relevant link for 25% DT. They say the behavior will be changed, but I have noticed absolutely no difference. Possibly something related to TP moves (which we obviously never see). Might be the back-to-back TP move usage thing.

25% -DT and it wipes buffs on pull if you aren't careful is only real difference iirc

As soon as someone else claims/Lullaby the mob he aggroed but didnt tag, the bubble would have 0 effect.

I'm not even quite sure if the bubble has any effect on merely aggro alone, but it would be easy to test. Indi-Poison, aggro something and check their health. If it never ticks down, Geomancy never activates until you are hostile towards enemy. But I actually never checked this to confirm, so I am not sure.

I could also be wrong here, but I think spikes effects damage done to an enemy (i.e. Ice Spikes) DO put you on an enemy's hate list, since the damage came from you. Anyone know for sure? (In such a case, GEO could pull with Indi-Barrier/Ice Spikes, and so long as they get hit once by enemy, they are auto-tagged. Theory though)

I read about this some year or 2 ago about it and that it worked with Indi-Gravity.
Just to get proof of it myself I went with indipoison, as you suggested and aggroed a mob, and it's HP ticked down steadily.

it really depends on what jobs you play and what other trusts you already have access to, also if you solo/duo/trio regularly. I have regular access to a geo so sylvie loses something for me personally. monberoux ends up being superior to other healers so long as you're not taking a lot of aoe damage.

my typical setup of koru, ulmia, jochiem or qualtada. then a healer if I'm on a DD, usually monberoux. my current unity is yoran so I'll throw him in for the daily points, then swap out for someone like shantottoII for MB when I 'm skillchaining.

on the rara chance i need a tank, I 'll swap between AAEV if i need a proper tank, val if I'm doing low lever stuff cause he cleaves things, ot the RUN (always forget the name) if I'm doing something with a standard type of magic damage.

certain things benefit from seth, lilisette 2, ferrous coffin, things like domain invasion or random exp parties where someone dies and there's no raise.
By Jakey on 2026-03-25 09:45:58
Um whatever that was... I mostly pointed out the power of hybrids because many had previously writen them off in limbus and I think there's value in pointing out alternate builds especially ones that don't really call for primes.

That said it doesn't necessarily make them more efficient, dead in 2 ws is dead in 2 ws regardless of how much bigger you make the numbers and obviously magical builds require malaise and everything that comes with that and at least duo i have to use hoxne to max out and I don't love that for limbus. I used to use trueflight rng which also easily hit 99999 but trying to work on other master levels now.

oh okay

Give them time. As soon as they figure out how to add a new series of trusts and tie them to loot crate purchases...
