Just learned that if you open chest and and you have overflow drops if you clear space it will give the drops to you as you make space and leave menu

You already cap attack in 9 boss with SV songs Minuets/HM and Bolster Frailty Fury. Pretty sure Chaos Roll and Shell Crusher (may not land unless in correct mode anyways) are unnecessary, unless Bolster bubbles drop, in which case a Chaos might be enough to cap. Monk's Roll is also kind of redundant and unnecessary unless it's for a mage strat IMO. Most DD jobs can toggle an easy 40-50 Subtle Blow WS set or get the other 10from Auspice, just by sacrificing waist, rings, and ear slots or neck (Bathy). Tacticians/Misers still seems better
Are you sure we are capped? Our RDM hits the occasional 99,999 on basement bosses but never on Aminon. (NQ) I know its close but MNK could stack some serious PDL now with Aria and have some gains during TP phase. With MNKs TP/WS split it should add up.

People don’t do the MNK strat because it’s less engaging than the meta DNC strat with only MNK doing all the work on Aminon.

Pretty sure Sterk has been doing MNK Aminon since before Ampulla was out. It's the same strategy you always use monk for, nothing has changed besides you are stronger with the ammo, the strategy is exactly the same for all bosses. The spotlight hasn't shifted to Monk because of Hoxnr because it was always the best job for the TP mitigation feed strategy, just people don't like to use Monk in groups. It's got sure way easier to MULTIBOX MNK vs DNC

What are weaponskills broken down for AECG vs BF and D/H? Are BRD/COR/RDM doing savage blade, GEO Black Halo?
Monk deserves it's time to shine, even if it is 1000g/swing.

Ruining a character ban/reputation for an HQ is pretty crazy.
Especially with a shield.
But nope all good, and yeah don’t know the inflation rate compared to when I made shield but it was easily 2B Gil around 8years ago when I finished.

I feel like I ought to point out that I had ranked up while LEVELING UP in Monstrosity, not just from unlocking a new species or variant.
when I was doing tiger i would exit eveyr 10 levels or so to see if my MR went up, no luck.

That's interesting. Did you cross any of the instinct thresholds (lvl 30, 60, or 90)? Did your monster learn any new abilities while you were leveling up? Some species get a lot of abilities as you level up and then don't get their last one until lvl 99.

Tourist v1.2 is now live people. The changelog in the readme file will tell you what files you have to update (no need to re-download all the images).
In short:
* Fixed a bug where Dynamis - Jeuno [D] was not recognized
* added large and small images for Jeuno [D] since apparently I never made those
* Fixed a bug where the NPC 'Ernst' was not correctly recognized as an Abyssea warp NPC
* rewrote the NPC lookup logic to hopefully prevent the kind of error messages that some users were having during cutscenes.
* Added support for the "Lure of the Wildcat" NPCs that can warp you to Whitegate for 300 gil.

If you weren’t multiboxing, a RDM/DRK with a BRD/WHM or GEO/WHM seems like the better play. Having access to chainspell absorb TP for Aminon would be a huge boon. Not to mention it getting reset with WC.

KoH would make you more durable with phalanx II and use Dia III as well. Why not just use Hastega from Garuda on yourself? You don’t need to tag the mob you cast a debuff bubble on btw, but you will have to tag mobs after or just heal your SMN once with a cure.

Yeah Oshala is actually good for damage. I usually save TP till 1.5-2k since it seems to scale well. It opens up some fantastic SC opportunities with ifrit too

Rank 7 Currently (started at rank 6 last week Doing Bastok & Sandy quest). Did Nearly all of Windy & Jueno Quest
Got Blobdingnag & Yilbean Titles but did not rank up.
Starting on outlands quest next. damn I started as 6 trying to 7.
went from 430 -> 780 ROEs
titles 417 -> 630
ranked 3 nations to 10
finisherd ACP(all storyline complete now)
golden shovel + ygnas
craft to 0>110 with several subs 70
fame capped all regular and 2 abyssya
all homepoints/survival guide
finished almost windy/bastok quests prob about 10 left
monstrosity tiger lvl 83. about 15 new species unlocked
Still 6. I must be missing something obvious but at this point its comical.
Did you buy 1 piece of armor for each Nation rank1-10 (x3 nations = 30 titles in total)? Make sure you buy an actual armor, like head/body/hands/legs or feet. I'm not sure if every item in a given rank counts. Better safe than sorry.
Also, did you trade Kupipi a rolanberry? Even the quests that are not in your quest log count, too. I didn’t buy armor just snagged the first item on the list to obtain the titles. Is there any reason to get the armor over the others or your intent is just for the titles?
1 item per tier for the title is enough.

I wanted to share my own thoughts about this as well. Someone recently noted smarttarget, and I wanted to also compare it to ata. For context, I tend to do a lot of Dynamis (not D) solo/with trusts, and these kinds of tools are very nice to have. I have been using smarttarget for a long time, but was getting annoyed with how it completely took over the targeting logic and would sometimes constantly switch between two mobs, not letting you hit either, often resulting in death since you couldn't get trusts to engage.
So, to start, that issue simply doesn't exist with ata. It only tries to switch once, and I've never had an issue manually switching to something else. I have, however, run into situations where what my client has targeted (locked onto) is different from what the server has me targeted (based on "unable to see" type log messages). It's generally easy to see, and simply "switching" to what I already have targeted easily fixes it. I think the tradeoff of not having to deal with the chance of constantly switching is worth it, but wanted to call it out.
One thing I also had to get used to was, with smarttarget, I could just engage on any mob (regardless of how far away it was - so, for example, the first mob I aggrod in a train, who often tends to be in the back of a train) and it would automatically pick better/closer targets. With ata I have to be smarter about the initial engagement, but this is a minor thing and I have gotten used to it pretty quick.
One final comparison I'd like to point out is that smarttarget, when it changes targets, will automatically turn your character to face them. This is nice when you are being swamped by a large group of mobs, since it means you can generally engage and not have to do anything for 75% of mobs (until you've killed all the melee and now need to do ranged/magic types). I do wish ata would do this, if possible, but just moving slightly after each kill obviously accomplishes the same thing.
I love how much more flexible ata is about choosing targets. For a while I was leaving the "target same" option on, but now I really just leave it on a simple "target closest" setting. Having those options (compared to smarttarget's simpler config) is awesome.
I also love the UI hate list. I've generally not had any issues with it, though sometimes mobs will be on the list even after I've killed everything. A simple clear resolves it, and it doesn't seem to cause any problems in that state. However, I do think it would be nice to have an option to sort the list - ideally so it's in the same order as you would engage things so it's more practical from an information standpoint, instead of your engagement hopping around the list. Even without sorting, having an easy to read glance of how many mobs I have left and a quick health check (for example, to see if an AoE WS might clear a lot of them) is something I greatly enjoy having, even if it didn't come with auto target functionality.
There is a note that some mobs won't appear on the hate list, and thus won't be auto-targeted. In my case, the Overlord's Tombstone in Dynamis - San d'Oria is one of these. The two assists that spawn with it work fine, but the statue never gets added to the list. I don't have an issue with this (and I understand it's not something you can do anything about), but I noticed that if I align myself so the normal auto-target would switch to it, I will switch but then ata will disengage me - which implies that ata will trigger me to stop attacking when it's hate list is empty. I think this is a bad call, and would suggest instead just make ata not do anything. I can't really think of any situation where I would want ata to explicitly disengage me when the default system would keep me engaged (maybe something with the blacklist where I never want to engage a particular mob). I think ata still handles this situation better than smarttarget, which has to be entirely disabled for my Dynamis example in order to engage the statue, but it think it can still be improved.
In all, I think ata is a giant improvement over smarttarget. The slight downsides (such as being perceived as laggier because it's not taking control over your targets as hard) are more than offset by the advantages and improvements. Thank you so much for this, and keep up the amazing work!

To share a bit of my own, I have stage4 staff. I've been 2boxing limbus on 119 with smn/sch and geo/whm, sch sub for sneak and invis and whm sub for banish on ghosts and corpse lights. I use arciela 1 as she will haste 2 my smn, monb and Cornelia.
Oshala > Flaming crush doing 40-90k with a fragmentation kills most things, if it doesn't I have my geo burst aero or thunder 4/5 for 30k+ to finish it. Oshala also does 10-23k depending what tp it gets used at. Bubbles frailty and malaise, tag with dia2.
I haven't bothered to see at what level break it becomes more hassle than is worth, maybe when I have time I'll test it out, but for now I've been trying to squeeze in as many chests as possible not caring about my capped points (nothing to spend on yet)
