Unless someone on my server rushed to kill all 8 NM's in 75 min, still another week before drop rates are fixed.

Such great content.

Typical college age in the USA is 18-23. Or perhaps I should say modal.
By Pantafernando on 2025-11-02 09:17:31
Maybe he assumed based on the statement you just got out of college?

Idk how old you generally finish college in general though, I always get confused with the american education progression

This is all done with XIview, and they are not usable with pivot for the most part, with the exception of icons.

Thanks all, I'm farming right now and surprised to say Glavoid really isn't too bad once the route is down and I can do it without thinking. While I gamble black matter daily for TH herc feet, I'm stuck at TH 3 on NIN/WAR so I switch to THF for glavoid for 2 drops even though TH3 for very common isn't bad.

The surprising issue and total blocker right now (as some of you have mentioned) is the Tiger King hide in Altepa, firstly it's always farmed and when it's not it barely drops it even with THF so I just decided to sacrifice gil to buy a hide for 300k each, though even that's running low on AH.

Just wondering about box farming tips because Altepa only has moba according to wiki that drop amber, so would I just get 48 amber and auto mobs? Someone mentioned there actually IS a mob that doesn't drop amber so interested if anyone can find out what if so. Otherwise wondering if I should wait on the abyssea campaign for maxes pearl to make this easier. Any other tips are very welcome, thanks.

Hello

I've been away from the game for years, but the link should now be fixed / content available if anyone is still interested in this old simple gearswap file as a starting point.

Hello all, I want to make sure I am understanding Blood Pact Delay/potency correctly:

When using my Blood Pact Ward abilities I am at a 30 sec recast. The only way to have this lowered to 20 secs is with favor active?

You must keep 670 summing skill in both precast & midcast sets to ensure the maximize buff duration, accuracy, damage, etc?

I'm new to dat-mods but I'm not interested in the HD graphics textures. I don't like how they can affect zone loading times or create other performance issues.

However, someone sent me this DAT pack and now I'm interested in better-looking names of NPCs, status icons and other text. I'm not a fan of how blocky this happens to be:

AshenbubsHD-TideFont:

I do like that other text items appear wider:

Does anyone have any examples/links to DATS that do just these things? (Are they easy to be re-applied with xipivot after a monthly update?).

How does this break down? There are 18 floors.

Would you help me by pointing out where you posted this data a month ago?

How about you test your assumptions before you make them instead of making some ***up then acting like a princess because you got called out on your BS assumptions.

Temenos is 220 per floor for NWE and 440 for central, 6,380 before the chest.

CL135 gives 6,248 points per climb not including chest, posted numbers while back. It's a 30% increase on CL130.

Quote:
6,248 from floor objectives alone. ~30% increase from CL130.

Apollyon gave 4,828 from floor objectives at CL 130.

Male's numbers for 135, which he did not do, are wrong.

I've posted these for 135 a bunch of times by now. It's 6,248 a climb at 135, not including chest.

My first job out of college was decades ago, but I've just recently made a hire on my team. There's no right answer here, so much is context dependent.

That being said, I can tell you how I triaged the applicants. Applicants were required to submit a cover letter, resume, and answer a writing prompt (and we specified that answers that appeared to be AI generated would lower the chances of a successful submission - and we still got a bunch!). Failure to follow those hiring guidelines got applicants immediately disqualified - we lost about a third of applicants at this very first step.

I gave folks 1 point for cogent answers to the writing prompt, 1 point for a cover letter tailored to our specific organization, and 1 point for each area of subject matter expertise in their resume that matched the job listing. Top 5 got phone screens, top 3 got panel interviews, one got hired. This was a technical role and I didn't look at formal education at all.

Some folks will tell you it's a numbers game and to do the old spray and pray with your applications. There may be some truth to that - I guess it depends on what kind of organization you want to work for and what you hope to get out of that work. Maybe a hybrid approach is necessary where you cast a wide net but put in actual effort for places you actually care about landing a job.

I would say that there are a lot of places it's a moral imperative to avoid - and some are mentioned in this thread. But you do you, find what works.

The only thing I remember from when I was in your position is that 100% of the advice I got from people who hadn't graduated in the last 1-3 years was outdated garbage. For that reason, I hesitate to give any real advice and caution against putting stock in most of this advice.

I have never worked for a company that hires people out of college, so I have no experience from the hiring side either.

He did go to a trade school. Data analytics is a trade not a profession.

Military might be good. With a MS he can start as an officer and have decent odds on actually working in his trade.

Not quite true. Just need to know options, save enough and have the mindset of earning early while you are young.

While you do you, I do think the idea of rushing marriage/kids is a quick way to have a poor life exactly when you are earning the less in your life. Depending on country and city obviously, but children cost with school and extra will keep on raising maybe faster than your income can increase.

About investments, I was never interested in playing with stocks. To me, learning stocks is like having a second job. And if Im willing to have a second job, could as well just something related with my proficiency in something.

But once a friend told me to use my savings and invest in government funds. Each country should have its particularities, but here, those government funds have low risk and slightly good return, something like either 14% a year, or 7% a year + inflaction.

This golden tip was given to me relatively early in my career life so Ive been slowly but steadly increasing my resorce, so much that I estimate I can net by those funds alone half of my early income at work by the reward alone.

So my advice relative to investment is: slowly but steadly. Dont be greedy like going to those high risk investment. I actually had a couple of money in some stock fund, but I noticed the fluctuation is so absurd in the world post pandemic that generally is a net loss if you arent doing daily trade.

quit his job as a welding lead
step 1: start with a decent paying job so you have money

Asura.Zenairis said: »
started dumping money into dividend stocks
step 2: invest during a period where the market is skyrocketing

it sounds good at a glance, but the kind of person who has no money and no job probably can't use that plan to retire

i would also say that quitting your job because you have $900/week passive income sounds incredibly shortsighted.. doubly so if it's through some shady ETF that is actually paying dividends by degrading your stock value

Join the Military, or enter a Trade School.

The days of where just having the degree was a foot in the door are long gone, sadly...they were crumbling even when I left school.

Trade School is what I did. Specifically Steamfitter's Local 602 about 22 years ago. Generally High Wages (Will vary by region) free College-Backed training, Benefits, Pension, Annuity and depending on the trade we tend to use equipment to do the heavy lifting for us so we don't get the "Broken Body by 45" problem; as long as we don't get stupid and put our bodyparts in places they shouldn't be lol. Plumbing is good if you don't mind the smell, Electricians are good too if you don't mind counting to three most of the year.

That is all to say that there are always options if you're not afraid to turn to Blue Collar if you have to, even if it's just to get by until the job you really want opens up.

I just dont want to be an employee anymore

Being self-employed is its own level of ***, depending what field you are in. It made me suspicious of everyone and everything and took me a decade to relearn to relax.

My brother started dumping money into dividend stocks. It took him close to a year of progressive investing. Now he's making $900 a week off of weekly dividend stocks.

He quit his job as a welding lead and essentially just stays at home now. So it's possible to do if you play your investments right.
