Finished up a bunch of stuff I've been working on over the last month or so and released 1.1.0. It includes a fair bit of useful stuff but I think the most important part is that the Quick Start Guide has now been updated to make use of a full set of template files for each job which should make it much clearer how to get started and let you essentially 'fill in the blank' gearsets and try it out. Hopefully this makes it much more approachable, feel free to post if you've any questions.

Finally I was rewarded for never logging out and therefore never updating Windower.

Lots and lots and lots of murder. Go on a job like BLU that can cleave endlessly.

Note that some zones take a lot more murder to move the bar than others. Movalpolos took me nearly 2 days of killing to move the bar enough that beastmen wouldn't control it. And yes, you 100% do not need to gain exp to move the meter. As far as I can tell the bar doesn't update very often.

Oh and, whatever you do, don't die. Death seems to be the primary (only?) way beastmen gain influence and they will gain a LOT depending on the zone. Unfortunately that applies to other players... it is unknown to me if players not having signet or not effects the influence moving on death.

Do you really think Fickblix isn't worth it for any of the top sets?

For me, I was leading a group doing Delves and when we'd kill an NM they would see the treasure drop into the pool, Treasury and TreasurePool would see it, but it wouldn't show up in my in-game treasure pool at all.

my company has 1 windows 3.1 system in production. and we have 1 custom very old system which runs a internal os that when it crashes we have to pop in 5 floppies to get it started back up... nothing ever dies...

I was having bad lag issues in Odyssey Gaol today. No animations were going off. I had to read the log to play. After we timed out, and everyone left I was still in the boss area casting. I had to crash my client.

Also, I'm in the Pacific Northwest.

I pulled a few pieces of gear out of porter moogle, got a strange lag spike, skipped a few pages in the porter menu, and my thf emp+3 legs disappeared. Findall said I took them out, but packet loss occurred and i could not equip them. I had to zone twice to access them. Then I bought a beastly shank from a bazaar, but the sale never showed in my log. Same thing, findall said I had the shank, but it never appeared. I had to completely reboot to get it to load, as zoning did not work. Lot of weird stuff going on rn.

I logged in after you guys pushed the revert and ran an apollyon run. Everything seems normal. No issues at all now.

This update was just reverted. We had reports of what appears to be dropped packets and lag.

It is still deployed on dev, but live was reverted.

The update seems to have made it where you have to use //lua u/l "xiv crossbar" now.

I went into the xivcrossbar.lua file and changed addon.name to "xivcrossbar", as well as removed it from my init list leading me to manually load it now. It's a workaround for now.

I thought you had cleared all of them.

took my wife there to learn it as I was curious if you could it took quite awhile but we just set the mobs to 135 and kept killing til she learned it.

Friend who lives in CA was complaining about this after updating windower this morning.

Said his chars were getting locked at every npc he was interacting with. I personally haven't had any issues yet, haven't updated windower yet so thought that was somehow causing issues.

We believe this issue is actual the recent windower update and will be reverting it.

Unsure of the exact root cause as it has been on dev with no reported issue of this nature for a long time.

Similar issues, among those are killing Ghatjot and the door did not reopen. Wasted run. I also had a character lockup and no movement when using a silent oil, or bard song. Character stood there like it failed, but had the icon as if the sneak was applied.

That seems to have done the trick. Did the update to Windower do this? My desktop still has pre-update files, and the addon.name is still 'XIV Crossbar', and I've never had this problem prior.

I learned it there within 3 kills, definitely able to learn it within Limbus. I set my level to 119 within Limbus if that matters.
